3: being welcomed.
i'm dreadfully 10 minutes late for the meet-up, it's extremely embarrassing and awful. i could just image myself walking in the classroom while everyone's eyes were on me, it's bad right? but i also thought the fact that it was a club, it wouldn't be that dreadful. it's not like a normal lesson with a strict teacher, it seemed like the leaders were also students, the names sounded so familiar.
i finally reached class 87, a bit breathless since i have been running and gasping for air. i fleetingly sighed and let my palm attach the doorknob, after standing for a second i twisted it open and entered the room with my mouth slightly ajar.
i pursed my lips as my cheeks went crimson, i closed the door behind me and watched how the newly members of DNYL shifted their gaze on me. surprisingly there weren't that many students, only a few, maybe about 8 including the leaders who stood by the blackboard.
"i- uh... i apologize for coming late." i shyly smiled as a boy with black hair approached me, smiling and showing his strong cheek bones. "it's totally fine, don't apologize~"
"welcome to DNYL, come take a seat." he said and gestured me to walk deeper in the room. i slightly bowed and walked my way towards to a seat, it would be a bit embarrassing to sit alone, so i decided to sit with someone.
unfortunately there were no girls on sight, i was shocked at how there were only boys and i never felt so spaced out. i blinked and glanced over at a familiar boy, sitting alone with his hands folded and placed on the table. i approached him and leaned down, smiling hesitantly.
"may i sit beside you?" i queried.
he looked up, nodding his head and pulled out the chair for me. "yes, of course." he flashed a small cute smile as i lowly sighed in relief, thought he would say no but he didn't. i sat beside him and placed my bag on the floor, beside the chair. he seemed very familiar and his voice as well.
"oh..." i whispered to myself after realizing. i felt proud and got blissful, knowing that i was good at remembering.
he was the boy who fought with her girlfriend jieun. was that her name? maybe he's all devastated after that, that's why he is here.
the boy looked over to see me. "my name is jeno by the way, lee jeno." he smiled once again, i felt my heart melting.
so that's his name. wow, what a beautiful name for a beautiful boy.
not going to lie, i personally think he's attractive. look at his eyes, dark yet beautiful. skin, so smooth, slight tanned. lips were tinted red, pretty and perfect shaped. his hair, black and fluffy. so handsome. okay, i know DNYL have a rule that romance is strictly forbidden but what i'm thinking of is not included. i'm just saying he's handsome.
"ah, my name is ryu nana." i bowed my head slightly, we both smiled before focusing forward.
"so.." the black haired boy started off. "my name is mark lee and i'm the leader of DNYL." mark smiled while nervously chuckling, he looked at the boy beside him and nodded, signaling him that it was his turn.
"uh yeah, what's up guys my name is harvey. i'm from england and please don't be shy to talk to me, i can talk english but can also speak korean a bit." harvey flashed a smile as the boy students inside the class secretly giggled, admiring him.
i mean like same.
"as you already know DNYL stands for don't need your love. you guys expectedly received the paper we made and read the rules. please follow them, it's not so hard. you're here to get rid of the pain love has done to you, you're here to erase love for a while. i hope this would help and we, me and harvey are extremely excited to start this club." mark explained, it was explicit. harvey nodded. "yes, we're very excited."
there was an awkward silence for about 5 seconds, the members and the leaders just awkwardly and blankly looking around.
"so... are we gonna like attack the people that hurt us?" a boy asked, he had slight grey hair and looked quite cute.
harvey chuckled. "what's your name?"
"renjun." he simply responded.
"you see renjun, i wish i could too but that's what we would be avoiding in this club. we would forget about the one we love. the greatest revenge you could ever give to them is, living life happily to see how good you're doing without them." harvey's words were deep, i could feel that inside my heart, it was amazingly good.
"that was good, really good." a boy spoke, he nonchalantly chapped his lips. "i agree with jaemin!" a boy with silver hair raised his hand, smiling like a bright sun.
"can't i kill her?" renjun asked, continuing to choose the opposite of what harvey just told her.
"okaaaaay." mark said. "what about we go out and buy some food, talk and get to know each other. sounds good?" he questioned, already grabbing his bag.
"yeah, let's go!" a boy with blonde hair stood up, laughed like a cute dolphin.
"okay, then let's head out." harvey said.
everyone stood up and commenced to take on their bag, ready to leave the class and get some food while eating, to get to know their new friends in the the club DNYL they recently just joined.
note: eyy, i wish DNYL was a real club because i am desperate to join!! cuz same ryu nana, hehehehhe.
