15: good morning.
the egg yolk sun poured through the cracks in the blind and awaited entrance into my eyes. sight still in the clutches of the night's glue, i hesitantly rubbed the dreams away. i sat up and studied a very unfamiliar room, it made my heart beat fast since negative thoughts had crossed my mind. until i saw a baby picture of jeno on a desk table by the door.
it wasn't quick for me to realize that i slept in jeno's house, how pathetic and embarrassing. what if he's brother called doyoung saw me? oh god.
i hurriedly jumped out of jeno's soft bed, and i have to mention that his bed smells so good, just like him. i stepped on the wooden floor as it creaked beneath my foot. i exited the room and heard a very mellow humming coming from downstairs.
it was of course jeno.
"j-jeno?" i called out nervously as the humming stopped. "yeah? i'm down here in the kitchen!" he answered back as i let out a sigh relief.
i walked downstairs and headed to the kitchen, easier than i thought since downstairs there were a lot of rooms. once i entered the kitchen, i saw jeno unexpectedly cooking bacon and eggs with apron around his body.
"good morning nana!" he exclaimed happily, flipping the bacon as he winced when the oil popped. "are you feeling better now?" he asked as i nodded, blushing slightly.
"didn't know you could cook." i started to approach him, placing my elbow on the counter and cupped my cheeks as i watched him cook. "unexpected and impressing." i teasingly spoke and smiled at him playfully.
he smirked which made my face drop, did not expect that devilish smirk. "and i didn't know you would look so adorable when you sleep."
his words made me freeze and blush. i tried to cover my red cheeks by facing the other, nervously chuckling. "yeah, so sorry that i fell asleep here." i apologized as i could hear jeno scoffing while his eyes rolled upwards.
"don't apologize it's fine."
i looked at his beautiful face again and grinned. "you know we're so lucky it was friday yesterday. earlier i thought i was late for school." i remarked as he cutely chuckled. "yeah."
"you're brother hasn't arrived yet?" i asked as he shook his head. "no, he's probably coming back when it's afternoon, as he usually does. he's too busy practicing singing and dancing." he informed which made my eyes dilate. "really? is he a trainee? what company is he under?" i asked and was quite shocked.
"SM entertainment." jeno responded briskly which made me nod. "ah, wow. does he sing or rap?" i asked. "sing." jeno answered again.
i smiled sneakily and looked at him. "can you sing?" i queried which made him burst out a cute and quick laugh. "w-what?! haha, you won't get the answer." he teasingly said and leaned close to me to pinch my cheek.
i blushed. god, now that i'm in love with lee jeno, i'm in big trouble. i don't dare to meet the other DNYL members because i have officially broke a rule. fall in love with a DNYL member and it was jeno. how am i suppose to handle this? i can't fall in love with him, at the same time there's no way i would start to avoid him, that's a no.
lee jeno... why?
"hey jeno, i need to go home now..." i spoke in a frantic way as i began to walk backwards. "ehh?" jeno made that adorable sound as he looked at me with his cute big puppy eyes. "why? i'm cooking breakfast for us." he pouted.
i pursed my lips and thought of an excuse, luckily i thought of an amazing one. "my parents would kill me if they find out i'm not inside my room."
jeno's eyes dilated. "oh shit yeah that's right. you want me to walk you home?" he asked and was about to take of his apron, but i immediately stopped him and shook both my head and hands. "no jeno, no it's totally fine. i'll see you at monday." i walked then stopped as i turned around. "right?"
"mhm, now go home safely please." jeno said and waved his hand. i waved mine as i took on my white shoes that were once neat. "see you jeno!" i waved my hand as he did the same. i exited his house and made my way home.
i was actually scared. what if the others would be mad if they find out that i broke the rule?
note: hey guys this sucks but whatever Hahahaha im gonna take a bath because i have school tomorrow.
