6: the party
"are we the first ones?" i asked harvey who was peacefully sitting down the white, neat couch. i looked around and was very amazed, i never thought his house would look so luxury and nice. harvey chuckled softly. "nah, the boys are somewhere, i don't know where and i don't wanna search after them because our house is very big." harvey closed his eyes as mirae slouched down beside him.
"hmm, okay." i simply replied and to be honest this part was a bit empty. the fact that there was not so much people, jumping, dancing with a cup on their hand, the music played on the background was also very cozy and chilly, it wasn't loud which i liked.
i looked over at harvey and mirae, casually talking as i let out an exhale. "hmm, okay i'll go and search for them."
"okay." they both nonchalantly replied and continued their lazy conversation.
i walked around and still haven't spotted anyone, once i reached another small living room upstairs, i saw mark and haechan.
they stared into each other's eyes, but when they noticed my presence they immediately looked up and pulled themselves far away from each other.
"oh.." i smiled at them. "finally i found you guys. what're you doing?" i asked and went in the room, looking around as they awkwardly stood in silence. i raised an eyebrow and looked at the boys, a bit curious about why they weren't responding.
they both stood, wide eyes while staring at me with crimson cheeks.
"nothing, just looking around too." mark coughed and commenced to walk around, copying me. "oh.. okay. have you guys seen jeno?" i asked and averted my eyes at them.
"no, actually we haven't. i think he's out in the backyard." haechan explained, i frantically thanked them and instantly ran downstairs.
i entered the backyard, the sky was dark, still lights were seen because the stars were glowing very bright. the backyard was as expected luxury, it had a rectangular-shaped pool that was filled with bright blue water.
"stop drowning him!" jisung screamed nervously, while staring at renjun who was playfully sitting on top of chenle's head. "what do you mean? i'm not drowning him?" renjun raised an eyebrow.
i dilated my eyes as i saw them on the pool, wet and having fun. "what the hell are you guys doing?" i stepped closer towards the pool and queried with my mouth slightly ajar.
chenle finally popped his head up, renjun's lap on his shoulder as he smiled at me, a bit breathless but managed to wave his hand. "oh hey noona!"
i rapidly blinked my eyes and let out a big exhale. "what?"
"watch out!" jaemin screamed as he sprinted and jumped up the air, hugging his own legs and landed on the water safely.
i shut my eyes, wincing and instantly stepping back as my hands patted of my wet cloth. "what the hell jaemin?" i spoke with a slight annoyance inside my voice, i frowned and looked down at the boys who swam with their long sleeve swimsuit. "what's happening here?" i asked and impatiently waited for their response.
"isn't it obvious, we're swimming." renjun spoke and raised an eyebrow. he slithered next to jaemin and splashed water on his face. "yeah, but it's just very unexpected." i said and tightened my grip on the purse strap around my shoulder.
