Chapter 7

The following morning was different from the rest, Lisbon wasn't going to get out of bed. She just stares at the ceiling and cries at the thought of being weak forever. Right now she's focusing on her hands, trying to grip her pillow but it's not working to well and she gives up. The only thing Jane ever got her to do was get ready for the day but she found some way to get back into bed, refusing to listen to Jane.

Jane however was determined to get her out of bed.

"I have a surprise for you!"

He says cheerfully as he puts a cd in her radio, playing La Vei En Rose by Armstrong. The song makes her smile for the first time today and Jane gets her to stand, holding her close to his chest.

"La Vei en rose, this song is my favorite. Wait? What are you doing?"

Jane smiles his 100 watt smile which causes Lisbon's heart to skip a beat.

"Dance with me."

"I can't-"

Jane doesn't listen and starts to dance very slowly with her, holding her close the whole time to keep her from falling.

Hold me close and hold me fast

The magic spell you cast

This is la vie en rose

Lisbon's heart is pounding as she tries to move with Jane, watching her feet the whole time.

"Look at you, your doing great."

Jane says softly, the sound of his voice making her relax.

When you kiss me heaven sighs

And though I close my eyes

I see la vie en rose

It never occurred to her how much she loved being in his warm embrace and without thinking Lisbon presses closer against him and closes her eyes, loving every minute of this.

When you press me to your heart

I'm in a world apart

A world where roses bloom

This backfires though because she trips and the two fall awkwardly on the bed ending up with him on top of her. Lisbon blushes deep red.

And when you speak

Angels sing from above

Everyday words seems

To turn into love song

"I am so sorry, I didn't mean-"

Jane silences her with a kiss not even thinking of the consequences. He stops when she doesn't kiss back.

"To fast?"

Lisbon looks at him in shocked silence, a smile forming on her face and she closes the gap between them pulling him back down. He kisses her passionately and she returns the favor, kissing him into submission.

Give your heart and soul to me

And life will always be la vie en rose

Jane is what she has wanted for so long but could never have and you can bet that Lisbon wasn't going to let go of Jane this time.

Waiting for season 7 is killing me! I want Jisbon NOW! So now that I think about it this chapter doesn't go with the story at all but I've been craving Jisbon for some time now and needed to let it out! please vote and comment!
