"I'm calling 911, Jane I need you to get a reaction from her, anything works! Adrian is still addicted to drugs if I'm lucky he might have a syringe."

"You're going to save her from a drug by injecting her with another drug?"

Jane touches her warm, soft cheek. Is she truly dying? She looks so much at peace...

He unfurls the covers and turns the fan on high to try to make her uncomfortable but she doesn't move. Same position, no reaction, still warm.

"What does this drug do anyway?"

"It makes the patient fall asleep as it systematically shuts down the nervous system. Tess could be losing her ability to walk or her strength, maybe she won't think clearly. Either way the nervous system is so intricate that eventually it will shut down the brain and still the heart."

This frightens Jane and he starts shaking her hard, commanding her to wake up! Someone from downstairs hears the commotion and comes to enter the room.

"Uncle Matthew?"

"Ann get Adrian up here now!"

Her eyes get wide when she sees the commotion in the room and Ann quickly nods before she runs downstairs. Jane slaps Lisbon hard but she still doesn't react!

"YOU'RE A DOCTOR DO SOMETHING!"

"I AM DOING SOMETHING!"

"NO! YOU'RE LETTING HER DIE!"

Adrian runs upstairs with the rest of the team.

"Ann's downstairs with Tommy, what's going on here!?"

Matthew snaps his fingers to Adrian.

"Adrian I need you to hand over the drugs!"

"Drugs! Now!"

Adrian refuses to admit his addiction and Cho takes action by searching him and pulls out a syringe with amphetamine still inside.

(Adrian had previously boiled it down to a liquid and had used it to inject himself with it.)

He lets Matthew have it who pushes Jane away and inserts the syringe in her arm. Everyone waits for her to react in any way, they can hear the sirens outside and Rigsby, Grace, and Cho clear the room for the paramedics to come in.

Right before the nurses rush into the room Lisbon opens her eyes as if waking from a dream and she smiles at Jane.

"Patrick."

She blacks out and the paramedics rush her to the hospital.
