Lucifer stopped, his eyes turning red again.
"You're (Y/N)... How quaint." He chuckled, grabbing you by the throat. You pulled at his hand.
"What makes you think you can fly in here and take it back, my little Doll?"
"I-ahck.. Please." You gasped. He sneered and threw you against the opposite wall. You hit the bars with a loud thud before landing on your stomach. He laughed as you coughed and climbed back up.
"Begging won't get you anywhere." He snarled. You cleared your throat, swallowing dryly.
"What can I offer you in return?" You asked.
"Smart girl.." Lucifer smirked, thinking for a moment.
"Please… I just want to save Sam." You explained.
"My freedom in exchange for Sam's soul." He smiled. You narrowed your eyes.
"How do I know you have it?" You asked. His smirk widened, but you could tell he was annoyed.
"Clever girl, but not clever enough." He snapped, shackles appearing on your arms. You were forced to your knees, chains embedding themselves in your wings. You screamed in pain, arching your back forward.
"I don't have Sam's soul… When he was pulled from here, his soul was absorbed into the inner workings of the cage." Lucifer explained. You trembled, trying desperately not to move.
"You're strong, a creature worthy of fear.. But not from me." He said, walking closer. You were afraid, but more than that you were angry.
"Anything you give I can take, I promise you that." You growled, ripping your wings free with a cry. His look darkened, a smirk growing on his face. You pulled against the chains holding your arms.
"You should watch your tone." Lucifer drawled.
"You and I both know you can't kill me." You said, stopping your rebellion. You could tear the hooks from your flesh, but you couldn't free yourself from the cage. He knew that.
"No, but I can keep you trapped here, forever." The archangel retorted. You laughed, what was there to be afraid of?
"You can try… It might take a millennia.. But the first time you let your guard down… I'll tear you limb from limb." You threatened. Lucifer licked his lips.
"So her true nature is revealed. You're not a savior. A saint.. You're a penitent." He said, intrigued.
"Penitent or not. You will not go unpunished… The moment I'm free." Your eyes leaked a gooey white substance. Lucifer looked past you.
"Meridianna's son… To what do I owe the pleasure?" He asked. A familiar voice echoed behind you.
"You dare harm my mate? I know you can smell me on her."
"Lempo?" You called out. Someone dropped to their knees next to you.
  "Release her." Lempo ordered.
  "What makes you think I-?"
"You. Owe. Me… For having your vessel's family murdered, remember?" He responded. Lucifer rolled his eyes, snapping. You fell into Lempo.
"A deal is a deal… Leave." The angel hissed. Lempo picked you up, allowing you to touch the cage. You drew Sam's soul into your hands as the two of you appeared back on the stairs. Lempo began walking up, holding you tightly to himself.
"I could have handled that." You whispered.
"Of course, my beautiful warrior." He smiled, kissing your nose. Your stomach started to ache.
"I don't feel the greatest.." You mumbled as Lempo carried you through the portal. The moment you breathed fresh air your strength returned. Lempo set you down, keeping a hold of your hand. You flew him to Bobby's, going down to the basement. Sam laid there, handcuffed down to a bed. You sensed the ebbing presence of an angel and your heart sank. Dean sat in a chair, his fists balled. The moment he saw you his eyes lit up.
"(Y/N).." He spoke. Sam struggled to crane his neck and look at you.
"Stay away from me!" He yelled. You ignored him, displaying his soul in your hands.
"You have no idea what was done to me down there!" He shouted, beginning to thrash around. You hadn't thought about it. How Lucifer had tortured him.
"I'll block out the memories." You said simply, starting to force his soul back into his body. Sam screamed in agony, bucking against his bed. Dean had to look away, and Lempo was there to comfort him. You shoved Sam's soul farther and farther until he went lax. Sweat glistened on his forehead as you began blocking out the memories of the past months. After a few seconds Sam's soul was back and his memories were gone. There was one more thing you needed to take care of. You flew to Castiel, your eyes widening in horror. He was dying, his light fading from his eyes. He would die painfully because of you. The angel's once fair skin was rough and scabbed. His wings were burned and broken. His suit was tattered, bloody.
"...(Y/N)...." Castiel breathed. You moved to his bedside and took his broken hand. Tears fell from your eyes onto him.
"I'm sorry." You whimpered. The corners of his lips turned up, almost like he was smiling.
"It's…. Okay.." His wheezed, his light beginning to fade completely. He was going to die right there in front of you.
