Twenty Five
It's eleven fifty five and I'm waiting for my dad to show up.
"Cassidy?" I hear from behind me.
"Yes." I say, I see a dark shadow in front that I make out to be my father.
"Do you have it?" He asks.
"Ya." I say
"Give me the ring." He tells me.
"Do you swear you will leave me and my family alone?" I ask before giving him the ring.
"Yah yah." He says, I don't believe him.
"Promise?" I ask again.
"Cassidy I will kill you here and now if you don't give me the ring." He tells me, I hesitantly give him the ring and he slips into the darkness.
I walk back inside and try to sneak up the stairs but Nash was in the kitchen. Shit I thought.
"CC?" He asks.
"Yah?" I say trying to play it cool, I think it worked.
"What are you doing?" He asks.
"I couldn't sleep so I went to get some fresh air." I say, will be believe it?
"Oh ok." He says, wow. I'm dressed in all black and I probably look like I've seen a ghost. He's so gullible.
I quickly race upstairs before any more questions were asked and instantly fell asleep.
(A/N I know it's really short but the next chapter is long and SUPER important. I should have that up tomorrow or the day after that because I do have four tests this week 😁 I should probably go study. Wish me luck!)
