Twenty Two

We got to the party it was already crazy. Music was pounding and drinks were everywhere. I grabbed Hayes's hand and headed to the kitchen remembering the plan.

Flashback

I was sitting in Hayes's room and we were going over what we should do to piss of Taylor.

"Ok, remember we are going to go to the party then I'm going to get drunk, you however are not. I need you to stay sober and keep partying. We are going to dance and have fun, no matter what keep me away from Taylor until the very end of the party. Then we leave and go home." I explain to Hayes.

"Ya I got it." He says, this plan is full proof.

Flashback over

We go over to the kitchen and Hayes hands me a drink.

"Bottoms up." He says, I chug down the nasty liquor and thats when things started to get blurry.

Hayes POV (Geez I haven't done him in a while)

CC was crazy! She was so much fun, it was honestly hilarious. The one thing is I dont understand why she is doing all of this, I know Taylor was an asshole but I wish they could just makeup so we can all move on with our lives. I fell in love with CC not this eyeliner crazy party drinker girl. Yes I know it's all an act but sometimes I wish I could just hold her and call her mine. CC is playing beer pong and failing miserably. Out of the corner of my eye I see Tiffany watching me, she sees me seeing her and waves me over. Taylor isn't here and CC is into the game, I highly doubt she's going anywhere. I walk over to Tiffany, I have absoloutly no feelings for her I'm just annoyed that she keeps staring at me. I also want to confront her about what she did to CC.

"Hey Hayes." She says trying to hug me but I keep her off.

"What do you want Tiffany?" I ask, I could almost smell the alcohol on her. She comes up to my ear and whispers "How about you and I go upstairs."

"Tiffany?" I say pulling her away. "Leave me and CC the fuck alone and go get laid with some loser." I tell her.

"Fine, but I'm always a call away." She says winking and walking away. I turn around and see that CC is missing. Oh no. Where did she go.

CC POV

I was having a great time playing beer pong, the game ended and all the players left and I was about to go and talk to Hayes but I felt something sharp on my waist. I look down and see a knife pressing against my skin. I look up and see an older man looking at me.

"Don't say a word and if you do I will kill you here and now." He says to me. I quietly walk with him, I turn around before leaving the house. I see Hayes looking for me, I wanted to say something but that would put him in danger.

I keep walking with the man and he puts me in the backseat of a black van. I look over and see a man next to me, not just any man. My father.

"Hello CC." He says with an evil smirk.

How the hell did he get out of jail?

"What are you doing here?" I say.

"Can I not visit my daughter?" He says.

"Actually no, I have a restraining order against you." I say trying to get out of the car but the door was locked. No one was in the car, they were all outside watching.

"Are you going to kill me?" I ask getting nervous.

"No, I'm just going to get what I want then leave."

"What do you want?" I ask getting more and more scared.

"The ring I gave your mother."

"Hell no, thats all I have left of her." I spit at him.

"Fine, oh then your boyfriend... Hayes is it? Will be getting a visit." He says smirking his evil ass smirk.

"Fine. Meet me at my house tomorrow night at midnight, then I will never see your ass again am I correct." I say

"Yes." He says, I hold out my hand for him to shake and he stares at it.

Flashback

"Cassidy I need to tell you something important." My father says to me, I am seven years old and watching Spongebob.

"Yes Daddy?" I say.

"I need to tell you the importance of the handshake, you see the handshake is important because it symbolizes trust. You never shake a man's hand and then back down on what you shook on." He explains to me.

"You must promise me that you will never back down on a handshake, that makes you a coward and you don't want that now do you?" He asks me, I don't know why he was telling me this but it must be important.

Flashback Over

He eventually gives in and shakes my hand. I was waiting for him to let me leave and he did, I got out of the car but then everything went black.

Taylor POV

I walk into the party ready to get my sister, I need to tell her that I'm sorry. I just want my sister back aside from Hayes, the dating, and the lying, I just want my sister back.

I push through the sweaty people and see Hayes walking around he looks panicked.

"Taylor!" Hayes yells.

"Hayes, where is CC I need to apologize." I tell him.

"I don't know, she was there a second ago." He says pointing to a table "Now shes not. I'm starting to get worried I've looked everywhere. I'm freaking out Tay." Hayes tells me, I could see the worry in his eyes.

"Come on lets look outside maybe she needed some fresh air." I tell Hayes. Then suddenly everything was in slow motion. I saw CC's lifeless body on the street and a black van driving away.

"CC!" I scream before running towards her. I picked up her lifeless body and put her into my truck. Hayes got into the backseat and helped her. I drove as fast as possible to the hospital. Who could have done this?
