North Korea's POV
I watched out of the corner of my eye as (Y/N) left. Once she was gone I turned my attention back to the book I was reading before.
I heard someone walking down the stairs, I look up to see Soviet rubbing his eyes. He plopped down on the couch besides me grumbling.
"You look frustrated." I mumbled, turning my attention back on the book.
"I can't find anything on her." Soviet grumbled.
"By her do you mean (Y/N)?" I ask, flipping the next page. In my opinion I don't see why Soviet is still researching on (Y/N)... she just seems like a girl whose rich, is smart, kind, and likes to help others. Not to mention she is kind of cute... Wait... WHAT!? No she's not cute, North what are you thinking?
"Yes." I heard Soviet answer with a sigh, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"I think you should let that go Soviet." I stated firmly.
"What!? She's hiding something and I know it! Why else would she call off a whole room off limits?" Soviet questioned, crossing his arms.
"Don't we all have something to hide. As for the room ... I bet it's just personal." I told him looking up at him.
Soviet sighed, calming himself. "I guess your right." I could still see a glint of determination in his eyes... he isn't giving up is he.
"America!! Give me back my ushanka!" I heard Russia yell.
I look over seeing America running down the states with Russia following right behind him. "Guys quiet down, your going to wake up (Y/N)!" I heard Britain quietly yelled. France stood next to him as well as Reich. They walked down the stares as well.
"I heard yelling! What happened?" I look up at the banister to see Phil huffing and puffing with South next to him.
"It's just Russia and America being kids." Germany said, walking out with Poland by his side.
"Give it back America!" Russia screamed out at the top of his lungs. "Your going to have to catch me first!" America screamed back, running around the living room avoiding Russia.
"Boys quiet down! (Y/N) still asleep." Soviet growled.
"Don't worry (Y/N) not here, she left a couple of minutes ago." I said, closing my book, making sure to mark it where I left off.
That's when Russia and America both froze in place, everyone's eyes were on me. "What do you mean (Y/N) left?" America asked, reaching up his arms to shove Russia's ushanka on his head.
Russia didn't retort as he adjusted his ushanka. "Yeah, she left for work." I answered cooly.
"I didn't know she had a job." South Korea mumbled.
"Of course she has a job! How else did she get this house?" I questioned with a sarcastic tone.
South rolled his eyes but didn't say anything more. "Where does she work? Did she ever tell us?" France questioned, seeming to go into deep thought.
"No she didn't. Do you know Soviet?" Reich asked, looking over at Soviet.
"Why do you think I know?" Soviet questioned, glaring at Reich.
"Well you've been searching up information on her! I thought you would've known by now." Reich smirked, crossing his arms.
"I tried but nothing has come up! It's like she doesn't exist! I looked everywhere in the library-"
"Wait... you were searching her up... in the library?" Britain questioned.
I facepalmed, while everyone else gave Soviet unamused looks. "Yeah... why?" Soviet questioned.
"You know there is something called google... right dad?" Russia questioned.
"I don't trust the internet, most of the stuff on there is lies anyway." Soviet said.
"Well I doubt she has information on herself in the library! Who does that?" Russia argued, throwing his hands up in the air.
As they were bickering I had already pulled out my phone and searched up her first name. A picture popped of her, along with some information.
"(Y/N) (L/N), the new CEO of (L/N) corps after her brother Hunter (L/N). She is the youngest CEO in all of history and hardly ever shows herself to the public." I read out loud.
"What does (L/N) corps do?" Phil asked curiously.
"It's a video game company, they also find ways to help animals be more comfortable in their habitats yet also allow guests to see the animal in the exhibit." I answered after searching it up.
"What about her brother? Where's he?" Soviet asked.
I tried searching it up but all that popped up was his picture and the statement that he was the previous CEO and founder of (L/N) corps. "Don't know... doesn't say." I said.
"Maybe its best we stop here. We don't want to get into her personal life problems." South suggested.
"I agree with South on this, if she wants to tell us she can. There's no reason to keep searching." Germany agreed, walking down the stares.
"But we can finally find out more-"
Soviet was cut off by Russia, "Dad! There's a clear reason why the internet won't show what happened to her brother or anything else about her. People like their privacy, it won't spout out everything since she was a child unless she wants other people to know or is she's a historical character."
"I'm with your son on this Soviet." Reich said, which surprised me, I thought he would just watch and see how this conversation would turn out.
Soviet, seeing he was clearly outnumbered, sighed, "Fine... I'll drop it ... for now."
There was silence, awkward silence between each and every person in this room. Till Poland broke it asking, "When will she be home?"
(Y/N) POV
I shuffled through paperwork, today has been a long, long day. I look at the time seeing it was 9:20. Just ten more minutes then I can leave and find the boys some clothes. Then I should be home by 10.
I heard a knock on the glass door that is connected to my office. I look up seeing Benjamin, he had something in his hands which I couldn't see clearly. "Come in!" I called out, looking back down at the papers piled on my desk.
"Hey, I'm gonna leave now." Benjamin said, walking over to stand in front of the desk.
"Really? Usually your the last one to leave." I teased.
He rolled his eyes, "Whatever I have a date." He then froze, his eyes widened.
"Oooo~ A date huh?" I coed blinking my eyelashes.
"Shut up." He growled, giving me a warning glare. Then he sighed, placing three inch stack of papers on my desk.
"What's this?" I ask, gesturing towards the stack.
"Your homework." He replied with a smug grin on his face.
I groaned, "Why!?" He chuckled, "Well you missed a whole week, this is what happens when you miss a whole week."
I groan again, "Fine!" He smiled, then left with a little wave, "See you around."
I rolled my eyes, I then continued my paper work till I glanced at the computer screen seeing it was 9:30. "Yes!!" I cheered, picking up the stack of papers, car keys, and my phone, practically running out the door. I made it to the elevator, pressing the down button over and over till the elevator opened.
I walked inside, then pressed the number 1. It didn't take long till it reach the floor, I walked out, walking past the desk. "Have a nice night miss (L/N)." The lady at the desk said cheerfully as always.
"You too Charlotte." I replied, waving to the women.
I walked through the double doors into the cold night, I shivered. I felt something deep in my gut to go back inside, I just shook it off, walking over to my car. I unlocked the passenger side, placing the papers in the seat. This is definitely going to be a long night. I sighed and shut the passenger door.
I was about to go to the other side of the car till I heard a familiar voice say, "Hello sweetheart~"
