Running.

Why the hell was I running.

I looked back Ashton was chasing me. "Will you just come back here so we can snuggle?" He yelled with a small grin tugged on his lips "NO" I yelled and ran around the kitchen, but he ran the other way cutting me off at the other door way. I screamed and tried to run away but he grabbed my hips, lifting me into his arms. He threw me over his shoulder and back to the couch were we just were.

The pillows and blankets were scattered all over the floor from when he previously tried to climb the couch to grab me. He took me and threw me down on the couch, climbing over me. He didn't do anything but look at me. "You're so beautiful" he whispers. "Stop, don't lie" he just looks at me and then connects our lips. Was this really happening? Oh my god Ashton was kissing me.

As the kiss began to get more heated he licked my bottom lip and I opened my mouth letting his tounge slip in.

"Forgive me I'm trying to find my calling I'm calling at night" what the hell is this. I opened my eyes. My alarm was going off. It was all a dream. Of course it was Em why would he want you like that? I looked at the time 8:35. I got up slowly walking to my fridge to find food, because I love food. Until i remembered Ashton is going to be here soon.

I ran into my bathroom turning on the shower. I rinse my hair and washed my face. I got out brushing my hair adding in some gel and letting it air dry. I then brushed my teeth. I looked at the clock. 9:20. I picked out my favorite A Day To Remember tank top and threw on a pair of blue jeans. I put on my jelly fish vans and walked over to my makeup table. I put on my basic makeup routine. Foundation, eye shadow, mascara, eyebrows, and lip balm. I looked at the clock. 9:50. I was getting nervous as I walked out of my room, he would be here any second.

I packed up my bag taking money from the spot my parents keep stashed for me when they leave and I go sit on my couch. The door bell rang and I almost burst into tears. Oh my god I can't do this I thought to myself. I just tell him I'm sick, yah that's what I'll do. I opened the door ready to tell this beautiful boy my lame ass excuse. "Hey" he smiled at me. "Hello" I said back.

"Are you ready to go?" he looked down at the ground. "Ya of course." He looked back up with confidence spilling from every hole of his body. I grabbed my bag and walked out the door. "Can you drive? Cause you know I don't have my license here yet and it's just bit good. We will probably die if I drive." He looked at me with a slight smile. "Ya of course we can, I don't feel like dying today." We piled into my car.

I thought about the first place I should take him but couldn't decide so I listed out the options to let him decide. "So, we can go to the beach, the mall, Tampa, or maybe get breakfast first at this dinner down the street." "How about we get food first, I love food." He giggled after the last part of his sentence.

We pulled out of my drive way and drove down the street till we came in front of a little dinner I had been eating at since I was 10. "Hello Em" said Mary a waitress that had been working here since my family began coming here. "Hello Mary, how are you?" I said. "I'm great, and you?" She asked while seating us. "I'm really great thank you." I smiled at her. "You want your usually." I smiled at her and looked at Ashton who was looking at the menu. "Yes, thank you." She looked at Ashton "and for you dear?" He smiled at her and said his order. She walked away and Ashton and I were left alone.

"So where are we going today?" He looks at me. "Hmmmm" I say tapping my finger on my chin. "First I think I'm going to take you to see some sights in Tampa, then to international mall, then finish the day at the beach." I smiled at him. He was just watching me with those eyes. God those eyes. "That sounds amazing"

We sat there eating and Ashton told me about his life back in Australia. He didn't tell me why he left, but I wasn't going to push him. When we finished eating I went to the counter to pay, but he hip checked me and pushed me over and handed Jane the cashier his card. "Thank you" I said to him. "It's no problem you're taking me around so I wanted to treat you." I couldn't help but blush. He was such a gentlemen.

We walked back to my car to take the 30 minute trip to Tampa. It was quite a nice day out in Florida, which is honestly rare. So we rolled down the windows and turned up the music letting the salty air hit out faces. We hit a few hot spots in Tampa before hitting international mall where we shopped for an hour. I was surprised that Ashton was so patient with me as I looked at cloths. He would put some over his cloths and walk around like a girl, I couldn't help but laugh.

We then grabbed some lunch/ dinner at a pizza joint in Clearwater I absolutely loved. We ate and then around 5 we made our way to the beach. Being that it was summer vacation the beach was very busy with teenagers who think there cool and tourist.

After 10 minutes of looking for a parking spot we found one. We got out and walked to the beach. We both took off our shoes and rolled up our pants then began to walk in the sand. I made my way to the water and let the sticky salt water Lapp at my feet. It felt amazing I hadn't been to the beach in months.

"Wow it's beautiful here" Ashton said looking around. I turned around to look at him thinking he was further away then he actually was. I came face to face with him and almost fell but caught my balance when I placed my hand on his chest. As I went to pull my hand away he caught it in his own large hand and started to walk again. The thoughts of my dreams last night began to wonder in my head.

We walked to the pier hand and hand. There were people watching us. Probably wondering how such and ugly girl like me can end up with a guy like that. When we reached the end of the pier the sun was beginning to set. "Wow it's not everyday you get to see something like that." I say leaning against the railing. "That's true" he says looking over to me, I think he thought I couldn't see him watching me but I could. I didn't mind. He let go of my hand, I looked over at him. "Thank you for today Em. It honestly was an amazing day with an even more amazing girl." I knew I was blushing so much right now there was no denying it. I looked to the ground but he lifted my face with his finger under my chin. He moved his hand up to cup my check and began to lean in. Oh my god this was happening for real no lie. Oh my god.

"Aw look the misfit is getting her first kiss." That was the last thing I heard before he pulled away to see where the noise was coming from. Oh and I knew that annoying bitch Baylee. She always called me a misfit in fact everyone did. I was the school misfit and I thought I could hide that from Ashton but I guess not. "How about you fuck off." I yelled at her. "Look the misfit is growing some balls." she yelled as she walked away.

I looked over at Ashton his brows were furrowed "misfit?" He questioned. "I don't want to talk about it. Can we just go please?" I asked him he nodded and grabbed my hand giving a light squeeze but not letting go.

When I pulled into the drive way I just sat in the car as mortified as I was 20 minutes ago. "I'm so sorry" I said. "Why are you apologising? Who even was she? why did she call you that?" He asked.

"I feel like it ruined everything. Her name is Baylee. She started calling me a misfit in 7th grade, and now everyone calls me that, and I really don't feel like getting into the back story." I wanted to cry. It had been a long time since I felt this bad. "It's okay when you want to tell me you can." He looks over at me probably sensing I was going to cry. "You don't have to stay around a misfit like me." I said looking at him. He looked back at me.

"Here is the thing Em, I want to be around a misfit like you because if you're a misfit then I'm a misfit. You got me." I couldn't help but smile. A tear ran down my cheek and he wiped it away, without pulling his hand back he cupped my cheek and pulled me closer as he leaned in. Our lips touched and at first I didn't know what to do I felt so much. But then everything else melted away and it was just him and I and our lips moving in sync.

He pulled away smiling and giggled "I had been waiting to do that all day." I smiled at him and we got out of my car, and said our goodbyes. He watched me go into my house. I opened my door and shocker no one was home another lonely night.
