I told him what had happened with Crocodile man, whose name was Cade, and the frist few time I had met him. Gone into detail on what he had done in the past and was going to hurt us the same way. I felt so weak and helpless telling this to Michael.

I was scared.

"Hey it's okay to be scared. Don't worry, you safe now." Michael said as he sat down next to me. He tucked a strand of my light brown hair behind my ear.

"I don't want to see those pretty blue-green eyes of your scared and sad. I will be your knight in shining armor." he grinned.
I scoffed.
"Right now you going to make me food and we going to eat it." I said.
"So you not going to tell me what happened with Finley?"
I sighed, "I spoke to his leader and she gave me a prophecy. Very cliché for us right now but that is what she did."
He nodded, then went to go make dinner. "What do you want?"
I looked back at him. "How about eggs, bacon and toast?"
He frowned, "You want breakfast for dinner?"
I turn back and nodded, "I like having it for dinner." He shrugged and muttered under his breath.
"What did you say Ladybug?"
"Nothing..." he sang.
I rolled my eyes, "Weirdo."
"What was that Tails?"
"Nothing!" I mimicked.
I looked over my shoulder once more and smiled innocently.
He rolled his eyes and stuck out his tongue. I laughed. "You are not a five year old Michael Drew Heart. You are a sixteen-"
"Actually seventeen..."
I gapped at him. "Weren't you sixteen like yesterday?"
He sheepishly smiled "Actually two days ago..."
I stood up, winced a bit, then walked up to him. "And you didn't even tell me!" I whined as he turned back to the bacon in the pan.
"It's not that big of a deal..."
I punched him in the arm, "It is to me you dummy."
I tapped my Band and set a reminder on the eighth of January .
"There. Now I will be reminded if I forget."
"And when is yours?"
I crossed my arms, made a pouty face and turned away from him, "Why should I tell you?"
He poked me with the spatula, "Because I want to know."
I looked at him and sighed,
"The fourth of May." I watched as a smile grew on his tanned face. Only now had I realised how someone could assume that he is from a different country and not England. He was tanned unlike all the light skinned English people. I had also realised some time ago I was darker than the English, but not as dark as Michael. I shook my head, "Don't..."
"You a Star Wars baby!" he interrupted.
"Don't start with that please."
I moaned.
He laughed. I sat down in the chair across from him. His deep laugh still rang my ears, the satisfying sound that conforts me. He looked at me and smiled.
Ug! Why does your smile have to be so bright that it makes me so happy!
I smiled back at him. He dished the food onto plates and slid one to me.
He came around and sat next to me. As we ate I would see him out the corner of my eye glance at me. He looked up once more and I met his gaze. He smiled and turned his attention back to his half finished food.
I rolled my eyes and grabbed my plate and eating utensils and washed them.
"Hey Tails?"
"Yeah?" I answered looking back to him.
"Do you want to go to the market place tomorrow?"
He pushed his plate away from him, crossing his arms as he lent on them.
I thought about it for a moment. "I think we should." I answered as I sat back down. "Who else?" I asked.
"Well, we can invite the guys and Skyler."
I wanted it to be just us...
I nodded, "Actually I think just we should go."
"Okay. I am good with that."
I winked at him and smiled.
He frowned. "And that?"
I stood up and walked to my room.
"Calico!" he called out after me. I reached my door and turned to face him. "Yes Michael?"
He studied my face. I shrugged and walked into my room.
Weirdo.
My line hot stuff.
Pfft, as if.

I rolled my eyes. I had a quick shower and as I was on my way out again, I grabbed Sam's hoodie out my cupboard. I walked to my desk and grabbed the black Band. I stalked back out the room, planing to see what was on the band but decided to scare Michael but he wasn't in the room. So sneaked over to his door and nocked. I ran over to the couch and hid. I listened and observed as he walked through the room.
"Calico?" he questioned. I heard him coming toward my left as I sat on the floor, against the couch's arm. I got ready to jump out.
"Got you!"
I screamed as I got dragged from my tail out of my bad hiding space. He pulled me into my room. I kicked him off his feet and he fell to the ground with a loud thoud. I laughed quickly scrambled up, not looking where he was when he grabbed me by my black and blue tail and pulled me down. I yelped as landed on top of him on his hard chest.
Strong...
I looked up to his blue eyes. He smirked.
"What?" I laughed nervously.
I cleared my throat and shoot my head.
Get a hold of yourself Kline!
His smirk grew into a grin.
"I see you falling for me Tails." he said with a wink. I stared at him for a second and felt my cheeks heat up. I put my head onto his damp chest to hide my face.
He smells like lemon. It smells so good...and he doesn't have a shirt on...
I swore inwardly.
"You like what you see Kline? I know it's alot, the hair the bod..." he said with a smirk and combing his fingers through his wet black hair.
I stood, still trying hide my flushed face. I walked to my room and close the door, leaning against it as I was in the solitude.
When you staring at a demigod!
Heart!
So what can I say except YOUR WELCOME!
Oh my goodness...
You think I'm hot.
No!
Yes.
No.
Yes,yes, yes.
No, no, no!
No.
Yes.
See, you do think I'm hot.
I groaned at my mistake I made, trying to block Michael out of my mind. He started to tease me and trying to boost his ego. He was a decent guy, not like high ego. Just...playful. I rolled my eyes as I flopped down onto my bed. I tried to fall asleep peacefully.

Calico.
What?
You cute when you blush.
I felt my face warm up again as I covered my face.
I can feel you blushing.
I don't think that's possible Heart.
And you are in my room...
I looked up and around.
Oh... Well, I am not leaving. But... um... you can come here and sleep in your bed.

He opened his door and walked in. I turned over and looked at him. "I'm not leaving."
"And you don't have to." he said and walked over to his cupboard.
I slid under the covers and placed my head on the pillows. Because I had spent most of my nights at Sam, I was comfortable in the males presence. It felt like I have known Micheal for a long time. I listened to the sound of clothing being put on as he pulled on a big top. He sat next to me and played with my hair as I slowly drifted off to sleep, the smell of lemon filling my lungs.

You don't have alot of time... Someone said.
Not again...
And that's when the dreams began.
