   Friday 6:30 am

   I woke up feeling so tired this morning and I absolutely dreaded going to work. Then it took me a few moments to realize that today was one of my days off.

  Oh my gosh, I would have died if I had to go to work today. I thought internally thanking the world for this grand gift.

  I love my days off.  This one would be special too. After texting for a few days Eiji and I decided that we would meet up and hang out today, and I'd get to meet his friends too. With my newfound motivation, I got up and went through with my morning routine.

  As I ate my breakfast I realized that I should probably ask Eiji where we should meet. So that's exactly what I did and a few minutes later I got a text from him

  Eiji: We can meet by Bryant Park. Sound good?

  Me: Yes of course, I'll see you there :)

  Well that settles that. I continued my routine and got dressed and ready before I headed out the door.

  I took a cab to Bryant Park and soon enough, I was there. So I played my fare and went to go look for Eiji. Soon enough, though I spotted him and he waved me down. I started walking toward him and greeted him with a smile.

  We had done our usual greetings to each other and then I got curious as to what Eiji wanted us to do today.

  "So Eiji, what is it that we are doing today?" I asked. "Well right now I'm waiting for my friend hungry monster wanted to go get himself a hotdog." He said laughing a bit and teasing.

  So we just made a bit of small talk and then started to get to know each other better when Eiji looked behind me. "Ah here he comes." He said.

  I looked behind me to see who it was and I was shocked. Oh. My. Goodness.,
It's Ash! This caught me by surprise mainly because it was quite ironic, Eiji and I decided to get closer on the same day that I met Ash, Eiji's friend.

  Ash and I looked at each other before letting out some small bits of laughter, and Eiji was so confused.

  "This is the (Y/n) you told me about? Oh my gosh." He said. Eiji was still confused "Am I missing something?" He asked.

  "Oh, I met Ash at the library a few days ago, I had no idea this was your best friend." I said. "Its just kind of ironic."

  "Oh I see, glad you two are already acuqainted" Eiji said. "Well we,should get going, we'll head back to my apartment and you can meet everyone else."

  Fortunately his apartment wasn't all that far, so we walked and eventually got there. Then we went up to the elevator and arrived at the apartment door. "Who's all here right now?" Ash asked. "Right now just Shorter, but Max and Sing might come by later." Eiji said getting out his keys. "Great, he's going to scare the poor girl." He said.

  "Shut up, (Y/n) Shorter isn't scary, but he is more... Outgoing??? Than Ash and I." Eiji explained. I nodded in understanding. Ya I was so confused.

Then he opened the door and Eiji's house was nicely decorated and very clean. Good on you Eiji. Then I spotted a man with a purple mohawk and sunglasses on the couch.

  He noticed us and greeted us, "Hey guys!" He said grinning and waving. Then he got up from the couch. "So this must be (Y/n)! Eiji has told us about you." He said and we shook hands. Since I was around like two new people, I was rather nervous. So I laughed nervously and said, "Oh really? Eiji, are you just talking about me to everyone??" I said quietly laughing and sort of teasing him a bit.
