  I woke up this morning feeling tired, but better than I have been. Since what happened a few days ago Ash and I have been working on plans to try and get my sleep schedule back on track. (He has also been coming over like every day) We've bought some Chamomile tea for my apartment, (and it helps promote sleep), I've been off of my phone and hour before bedtime.

  These things have helped but I still have sleepless night, but they re becoming less common, which is great for me.

  I had a short shift at work today and that was good since it meant I could hang out with everyone today after work. So I got out of bed and went about my normal morning routine and when I was making breakfast I heard a knock at my door.

  Figuring it was Ash I thought nothing of it and just opened the door, and would you look at that, I was right.
"Look who's up so early." I said with a smug grin on my face. "It smells good in here." He said obviously tired. "So breakfast for two it is." I said. He laid his head on the table and said a muffled "Thank You." And took a nap on the table.

  I laughed quietly at the sight, He's such a kid sometimes, ah who am I kidding thats most times. With that I continued making us breakfast. Soon enough, it was finished and I put a plate in front of Ash, and one at ny spot. I shook him awake gently, "Ash, Ash. Breakfast is done, aren't you hungry?" I asked quietly.

  He didn't budge, Honestly what did I expect from him? I asked myself.
  Then I got a bit louder, "Ash!" Then he slowly opened his eyes. "Food?" He asked. "Yup that whole plate is all for you." I said smiling at him.

  He slowly got up and began eating, I got us both a cup of milk and then I put one at his spot and one at mine. Then I sat down. "Thanks (Y/n)." He said and then drank the milk. "No problem." I said. And we both ate in silence since we were so tired.

I finished before him and finished my morning routine and changing into my work outfit.

  I walked out into the living room and saw Ash sleeping on the couch. I had to go soon so I had to wake him up AGAIN.

"Ash, I have to go work," I said and shook him gently. This time he woke up the first time around and glared at me for a second before sitting up. "Fiiinnneeee." He said groaning.

  "Don't be so overdramatic. I gots to make money bro." I said. "That wasn't english." He said. "Shut up, let's go."

  Reluctantly he agreed and we both walked out of the apartment. He said goodbye to me and went to his apartment, while I headed off to work.

Luckily it wasn't a busy day so it was going to be nice and easy today. Then after all of that, fun times with my friends. You got this (Y/n).

  I was a half an hour out before I got off work. There wasn't anyone really here besides Ash and two other people. Ya, Ash came in about a half an hour ago saying how he was going to take me where everyone else is after my shift, though I don't think that's the whole story to be honest. Whatever I wont pry, for now.

  I got him a iced tea while he was waiting though, he seemed to appreciate it. I just had to clean off the counters and make sure the appliances were also up to code.

  Before I knew it, it was time to go, so I took off my apron and name tag, set them where they belong and met up with Ash. "Ok let's go." I said and we left to go to Central Park.

  Once we arrived, we met up with Shorter, Eiji, and two other men I hadn't met, but from the looks of it, they were friends of Eiji and Shorter.

  The one with the dirty blonde hair took notice of us and waved at Ash. "Hey Ash!" He said. Ash immediately sulked. Oh so this is why he wanted to pick me up, what a meanie.

  We caught up with the group and the man spoke again, "Jeez i'm gone for two weeks and you have a girlfriend?! Thanks for the life update pal!"

  My face got very red "Eh?!" I shrieked, flustered. Eiji laughed nervously, "Max this is our friend (Y/n), (Y/n), this is our friend Max Lobo, he's a reporter." Eiji explained. In which Shorter added, "He's basically Ash's adoptive Dad."

  "Go to hell." Ash replied. I shook hands with Max, "Its a pleasure to meet you." I said smiling. "Oh, she's so polite, dont corrupt her with your terrible behavior Ash." He said.

  "Shut up, old man. Max here is a friend of my brothers'." Ash explained to me. Max smiled, "Oh and its a pleasure to meet you too (Y/n)." He said.

  "And this is Shunichi Ibe, I was his assistant back in Japan, he's visiting for a few weeks." Eiji explained. Wow, Eiji's mentor?! "Welcome Back Ibe." Ash said.

  "Thank you Ash," he then went to shake hands with me "Its nice to meet you (Y/n)." He said grinning. "You too Ibe." I responded.

  Then as introductions where out of the way, we started on our walk and got to know each other better. Apparently Ash's brother and Max had served together in Vietnam. Fascinating. I thought.

  I also learned that Eiji used to be a pole vaulter in Japan. Which I was surprised to hear, but I could definitely see him pole vaulting.

  Wow these guys all have quite the history together, how cool. I liked meeting Max and Ibe, they were very nice.

Later we all went out to eat together and it was a lot of fun, especially when Shorter embarrassed himself when he tried to flirt with our waitress and failed. We gave him our sympathy though.

  Then soon enough it was time for all of us to go our seperate ways. So Eiji and Shorter went to their apartment building, Max went back to his apartment, and Ibe went to his hotel. While Ash and I went back to our apartment building.

  Once we got there I invited Ash to stay for a little while and he agreed. I had to hop in the shower and change into ny pjamas, but I told him the tv was all his and he could help himself to whatever he wanted in the fridge.

  So I went into the shower, changed into my pjamas, and jumped next to Ash on the couch. This startled him a bit as he tensed up, which made me laugh.
 
     We decided to watch (favorite show) for a while and eat popcorn. Soon enough, though it got late and we were both tired. However we were also far too lazy too move so Ash fell asleep, and soon after a while of leaning on his shoulder, I felt more and more tired until eventually, I fell asleep.

  (A/n)- And here's Max and Ibe! Yay our favorite dads! I'm thinking of adding in a few other characters but im not so sure and yay more fluffy times with reader and *cough cough* "best buddy"  Ash. Anyways, I hope ya'll liked this chapter. Obviously, as always, there's more to come. Also damn im at that point where I have to keep track of what Banana fish music I use so there isn't that many repeats.
