Those Hazelnut Eyes

*trigger warning*

I look over the cliff and notice the beauty in it,

The sun sends an orange haze over everything,

I realise how many won't see this ever,

I pity them.

Someone comes up behind me then turns around and starts to walk away,

"It's beautiful isn't it?" I ask them,

"Yea, I guess it is" he replies, "What are you doing up here if you don't mind me asking?"

"I... came here because I thought it would be a nice place to die. You?"

"Same"

I sigh, "Do you want to do it together? Jumping I mean"

"Sure but I just found something more beautiful than that" He points to the sun,

"What?"

"You"

I finally turn around and see that it's my crush Caleb

"When did you find out? that I like you?"

"You like me?! But why I'm just me"

"Yea I know, that's what I like"

"When did you find out I like you?" he asked

"Now"

"Wow, ok so nobody told you"

"Yea"

"Ok"

*Three years later*

I find myself coming back to this cliff,

To this place

Hoping he will not come

I just want to jump

But always those hazelnut eyes stop me

But he isn't here this time

I'll do it alone

like always 

I jump

My body turns because of the wind

I see those hazelnut eyes looking at me 

Then I see him jump

At least he kept to our promise 

That we would go together
