A God that knows all,
A God that cares about me,
But where is that God now,
Where was he when I was being beaten up for being gay,
Where was he when I was being abused by my drunk dad,
Where was he when I was crying myself to sleep,
They fucking talk about how this God will save you if you ask,
But where is he during those nights where I've cried out in pain,
Cried out in loneliness,
Cried out in desperation,
They say he cares but where is he,
Does he really care,
He does

He is standing right next to you,
He hears your cries of desperation,
He hears your cries of loneliness,
He has his hand on your shoulder when you cry out in pain,
He will save you ask sometimes not in the way you think,
He was collecting your tears turning them into dreams to rest your mind,
He was stitching your wounds as he was knocking out your dad,
He was bringing those bullies families back together so they would stop,
He was always with you,
He always cares,
He always knows,
He is all loving,
