Chapter 26: long time no talk

Freddy's POV:
After Tomika took off yesterday we've all been really worried. I text her about 5 hours ago but she hasn't replied. We've all tried messaging and calling her but hasn't seen any of them. I haven't talked to the rest of the band since she left and I think they all know better than to talk to me with what's just happened I started watching Harry Potter. Halfway through the chamber of secrets my phone went off and thank god it was Tomika. She had replied,

"Freddy, im so sorry I didn't text back sooner, its just... my dad. Hes in hospital he got beaten up really badly so I got on the first trip to la. you can come if you want to it would be nice for you too see brad but I don't know if ill be back in time for the meeting with the record label, im so sorry. I wont do anything stupid im not the same as I was before im in a better mindset and have things worth living for, you being one of them, Freddy I love you too. ill text my mom and maybe face time you in a few hours if that's okay. youre probably asleep so sleep well and ill talk to you more about it tomorrow plus I wrote a new songs ng on the plane. I wont be getting much sleep so ring me anytime.tell the guys Im sorry and didn't mean to worry them and tell summer im okay and for her to stop worrying or her hair will fall out. I love you <3 T xxxxxxx

I was just feel relieved that she is safe but I can tell she is upset by her dad. I ran in to the living room to see the rest of the band asleep so I thought I would just tell them in the morning. I got back into bed at around 2 am and tried to call Tomika but I think her phone was turned off so I just left it. I went through my phone and saw brads number so decided to call him and he answered.

"Hey Freddy,long time no talk.I guess you got mikes text?"
"Yeah, I tried calling her but her phone was turned off ,"
"Oh she's finally asleep, she's had a long day,"
"Is your dad okay?"
"Yeah he should be fine, but there is a chance he'll never be able to walk again."
"Oh god,"
"Yeah, can we changed the subject?"
"Of course,so have you got any acting jobs recently?"
"Yeah, I've just finished filming another movie but it isn't to be released until next year and i was supposed to fly out to New York yesterday but this happened so I have postponed it. Tomika told me about school of rock, mye and my girlfriend are obsessed with you but I didn't realise it was you guys, guess that makes me a bad person ey ahah"
"Well you think you would recognise her voice and my sick drums ahah,"
"I knew I recognised it,"
"Aye, whatever."
"Wait the nurses coming I've got to go, talk to you soon?"
"Yeah okay, bye"
"Bye,"

I was able to go to sleep now knowing mika was okay.
