Taking Back What's Ours (a treddy and zummer story)

Chapter 27: DAD!

Tomikas POV:
I woke up to brads scream,
B: "MIKA, MIKA WAKE UP QUICK...."
T: "what," I moaned
B: "it's dad they're going to wake him up, like NOW."
T: "like now?"
B: "yes like now, look,"
T: "oh,"
I looked over to where my dad was lay and the nurses were gathered around him, they done some test things and said he should come round in the next half hour.

Half an hour later...

(TD- tomika's dad,and brads)

TD: *groans*
B&T: "DAD!"
TD: "mika?"
T: "DAD, I'm sorry,"
TD: "it's okay, I'm just glad you're here,"
T: "me too,"
The nurse came in and explained everything to my dad and he was upset but I finally asked him why he deals and his answer, his answer was so he could buy a record company to help my dream come true. He said he felt bad about leaving and because I had no contact with him he didn't know about school of rock, I know it is supposed to be a secret but I told him and he said once the documents go through he'll sign school of rock instead of just me since we probably won't get the other one since I missed the meeting.

Time went on and we all caught up also, Brad brought up the hoodie situation after he saw it on my phone earlier, they both were laughing about it I was so embarrassed but it was nice being back around them without me and my dad arguing. We sat there for hours the nurse can in and checked but my dad still can't feel his legs which is normal but there is something wrong if he can't feel them in the next 48 hours. Also the police came to interview him and the men who did this have been arrested pending further investigation but of course my dad didn't say anything about the dealing because he would get locked up. After interviewing the men the police told us what actually happened as my dad can't remember all of it.

I was shocked to say the least. The men had apparently beaten my dad until he was unconscious and once he was unconscious threw him in front of a bus which would explain him not being able to feel his legs. The police also said that they will be trialed for GBH with intent to kill. The fact that someone wanted to kill my father is beyond me. The rest of the night we just talked about stuff when I got a FaceTime call from my mom, I obviously left the room to take it as my mom and dad are still not on speaking terms. I slid the icon along and answered the call.

On FaceTime...

Once I answered the call I saw my mom and Freddy's mom sat there, which I have to admit I wasn't surprised because they are best friends and by their look I think Freddy told them.
TM: "MIKA! Thank god you're okay. Freddy told us what happened, I'm so sorry baby. Is he okay?"
T: "yeah, he's fine but might not be able to walk again."
I could see both of them were shocked but I was too focused  on someone walking into the hospital, it was someone I didn't excpect to see, at all...
