Chapter 29: I love kids

Brad's POV:
It's been a few days since my dad was released from the hospital. I've had to reschedule shooting for a movie as I can't get to Australia
with my dad just being released. We are currently in la and my mom arrived 2 days ago to help us pack as we are permanently moving back to Austin. There is still one thing I haven't told anyone from back home. I don't live with my dad anymore I moved out a few months ago because me and my girlfriend, Olivia,had a baby girl named Elle when we were 16 and I'm currently about to turn 19 next month. The pregnancy wasn't planned but I love my daughter but the only thing is my mom, sister and friends back home don't know about Liv or Elle. I have to tell them as liv is coming over in an hour with Elle.
J: "Brad, you need to tell them." My dad whispered so only I could hear.
B: "I know I will, Liv is bringing her round later because I obviously haven't seen them with all this that has been going on."
J: "oooh Elle is coming, we're going to have a tea party, yayyyy." He whispered in a sarcastic girly voice and wheeled away.
B: "mom, tomika, can I talk to you?"
Just as I said that the door went, I basically sprinted to the door but tomika got there before me. She opened the door as I stood behind. It was Liv and Elle. Elle ran to me.
E: "Daddy, Daddy look what I got," she shout showing me her chocolate buttons and running to my dad to hug him.
T: "Daddy?!"
A: "WHAT?!"
B: "Liv can you take Elle a second?"
L: "yeah," she said picking her up and taking her upstairs.
A: "explain..."
B: "Liv is my girlfriend and we've been together for 4 years and Elle is my daughter and she's 2 and a half.
T: "I'm speechless, why didn't you tell us?"
B: "I didn't know how you would react I mean, I was 16."
A: "you could afford it, we would have visited if we knew, we've missed out on the first 2 years of her life."
B: "so your okay with it?"
A: "are you kidding? I love kids...."
T: "can we meet them? Like properly this time?"
B: "yeah,"
B: "Liv, can you come down?"
She came down with Elle on her hip and once she got to the bottom placed her on her feet. They all introduced themselves and held Elle and talked to her when Freddy came and was so confused. So we explained it. I put Elle in her bed at my dads and we all just chilled the rest of the night. This is something I had wanted to do forever. Me, my girlfriend and my family all together with no arguments and no secrets.
