is anybody waving back at me?
The doctors and everybody else rush into the room, followed by Jax who is still blushing.
They poke and prod at me, checking monitors, asking me questions and shine flashlights in my eyes.
Then King comes barreling in like he does every time.
"Abel!" he says, he sounds happy
Cynthia gives him a look, then looks at me. I shrug.
King looks over at Jax who is still a bright red. Then he looks over at me, raising an eyebrow.
I shrug again, my own face turning red.
Hours later it's just King and I in the room.
He's sitting, tapping away on his phone. He clears his throat and I look over at him.
"So, you and Jax. Huh?" He says, raising an eyebrow
I shrug, again.
"W-we're not...of-official. Like..I don't kno-know." I stammer, rubbing my throat
"why are you stuttering?" he asks, furrowing his brows
"I-I'm not sure. It st-started after I wok-woke up" I explain
He nods slowly, "hang on" he says and walks out
I twiddle my thumbs, then everybody. and I mean EVERYBODY walks back in.
I raise my eyebrows, what is going on , I think to myself
The doctors proceed to do more poking and prodding and ask me questions.
The main doctor frowns after feeling around my throat.
"It looks likes the part of your brain that controls speech, the occipital lobe, had a lack of oxygen for so long that it isn't able to make a full recovery." he says, "this is permanent" he explains
well shit
