Shawn's POV

After I dropped Cori off I headed off to meet Dame. To be honest I'm not trying to change my connect. I get my shit straight from the columbians   so I don't know what could be better than that. I stopped to get some breakfast and went to Dame's place.

I knocked and he opened the door.

 "What up." He said.

 I dapped him up.

"What up." I said as I walked in.

We went down to the basement and Malik was already down there playing the game sitting on the couch.

 "What's up." He said.

"Hey." I said as I sat down.

Malik was younger than us. Only twenty-five. He was like the little brother that used to follow Dame and I around. I started eating my food.

Dame came down and sat down.

"So what am I here for?" I asked.

"It's nothing now." Dame said. "I was  thinking and we don't need to change our connects. Too much of a hassle."

 I dapped him.

"My man, I didn't want to change connects either but we need to pop up on these blocks."

"I'm with that." He said standing. "Malik, let's go."

 "I'm almost done." He said.

 I turned the game off.

 "Now nigga." I said.

"Why you always doing shit like that?!" He said standing.

"What you mad?" I asked laughing.

We went up the steps and I threw away my trash and we left the house. We had to drive from Jersey to Brooklyn. The traffic wasn't that bad. We drove through our regular spots making sure everybody doing what they supposed to.

"Park over here so I can get out." I said.

 "You getting out?" Malik asked.

"Yeah nigga, you got a problem with that?"

"Here." He said handing me a gun.

I got out and tucked it at my waist. I walked across the street just to check things out.

 "What up Shawn."

"What's good nigga." I said. "Everything working for my good?"

"And you know this. No slackers over here."

 "Good to know Meth."

"No problem, you know I got you but I heard of some funny stuff happening in Harlem."

 "What you hear?"

"Money a lil low. New lil thugs think they doing something."

"'Preciate that. I'm on my way over there now." I said dapping him up. "Good look."

 "Word is bond my nig."

I walked back to the car and we headed over to Harlem.

Beyoncé's POV

"Bey! Bey!" I heard as I sat in my living room.

 "What!" I yelled out.

I looked and Kelly walked through the entry.

"What's up." I said as she sat down.

"Nothing, I wasn't doing nothing so I decided to come over early."

 "That's fine." I said.

 "You look tired." She said.

"I am. After I dropped Amir off I went to the grocery store and then I checked up on the store then cleaned up around here." I said.

"You ever thought of us just keeping the store and that's it?" Kelly asked.

"You want out?" I asked looking at her.

"We getting older, Amir getting bigger, I'm trying to settle down." Kelly said.

"I hear you. I thought about it." I said.

 "And."

"We gonna have to get things squared but I can see it in a year." I said.

 "So you in?" She asked.

"Yes, we need to settle down. We not in our twenties anymore."

"I feel you but Don wants to meet with everyone." She said.

 "Everyone? Who's everyone?"

"If you got a block we got to meet." She said.

"Oh great." I said. "We need to let Trina know what we trying to do. Maybe we can pass it to her if she want it or something."

"We might." She said. "Now lunch."

"Okay, let me get my purse." I said. "Oh my mom wants us to fly to Houston. She wants to see us, well she wants to see Amir."

 "So why am I going?"

"Are you going to tell her you not?"

 She didn't say anything.

 "That's what I thought."
