Shawn's POV

After I took care of some little nigga in Harlem I went to go pick up my princess. I got my car when Dame drove us back to his house. I drove to the school and got out. Damn, my phone. I walked back to my car to get it. I felt it vibrate and looked at it and I didn't realize it but I bumped into someone.

"Oh, my bad ma." I said.

 "It's okay." She said.

 "I wasn't watching where I was going." I said.

"Trust me, it's okay. I get distracted too." She said.

 "I'm sorry again, uhm?"

 "Beyoncé."

"Well Beyoncé I'm sorry." I said. "I'll watch where I'm going for now on."

 She laughed.

"It's okay." She said. "I didn't get your name."

"Shawn." I said as I extended my hand for her to shake.

She shook my hand and I really looked at her. She was beautiful. I heard a car honk. We looked. We had been standing in the middle of the street. We moved and laughed. We walked towards the school.

"So you're here picking up?" I asked.

"My son and yourself?" She asked as I held the door open. "Thank you."

"I'm picking up my daughter." I said.

She nodded. We walked into the auditorium.

"Hi daddy." I heard when Cori came walking up to me.

 "Hey princess." I said.

 Cori looked at Beyoncé.

"You're Amir's mommy right?" She said.

"Yes, that's me." Beyoncé said smiling. "What's your name?"

 "My names Cori." She said.

"Cori, I've heard your name before unless there's another Cori."

"No, I'm the only one. Do you want me to get Amir?" Cori asked.

 "Yes, please." Beyoncé said.

"Okay." Cori said and walked away.

 I looked at Beyoncé.

 "What?" She asked.

"My child remembered your name. My child doesn't remember anyone's name." I said.

"It may have something to do with the cupcakes I bought the class a few weeks ago." She said.

"Yep, food was involved." I said laughing. "Can I ask you a question? I mean you don't have to answer it but-"

"Just ask your question." She said laughing.

"You got a boyfriend or husband or a fiancé?" I asked.

 She laughed.

"No to all of that." She said.

"Would you like to go to dinner with me?" I asked.

 "Tonight?" She asked.

"Or whenever you're free." I said.

It looked like she was thinking.

 "Okay." She said.

"Can I get your number?" I asked.

She took my phone and added her number as the kids came back.
