Shawn's POV

"Cori! Come on!" I yelled at the bottom of the steps.

She came jogging down the steps.

"Daddy, where we going?" She asked.

"It's a surprise." I said. "Get your jacket."

"Does it involve money?" She asked.

"What? No, I'm not giving you money." I said laughing.

"Can you please just tell me." She said as we got on the elevator.

"No, patience comes to those who-"

"Wait, yeah I know." She said.

We went down to the garage and got in the truck. When we got in the car Cori kept asking me where we were going and didn't stop. Finally we arrived.

"You could've just told me we were going to six flags." She said.

"You not surprised? Fine, we can leave." I said.

"No, no. I was just saying." She said

We got out the car and I went in bought the tickets. Today was a nice day so a lot of people were here. We got season passes cause it was only five dollars more and I'm sure we'll be back. We finally got in the park and since we're both dare devils we got on everything. My princess isn't afraid of anything. If she was tall enough we got on. We finally went to get something to eat.

"Daddy, you know Amir went to Texas." She said as we ate.

"Yeah, his mom told me." I said nodding.

"You like Ms. Beyoncé?" She asked.

I laughed.

"Yeah, she cool." I said.

"Yeah, she is." Cori said.

We finished up our day and it ended by getting some funnel cakes and eating them. That sugar stuff not getting in my car. I got a plain one and Cori got one with chocolate syrup. We played a few games and I won her a big bear.

"You have fun princess?" I asked.

"Yeah," she said. "Next time can Amir and his mommy come?"

"Uh, we'll have to see." I said as we walked back to the car.

By the time we got back home Cori was knocked out. I picked her up and we went up the elevator. I got out my phone to call Raven.
