Chapter 10

Your P.O.V.

My eyes are heavy as I blink the sleep out of them. When did I fall asleep; regardless, it was probably really late Still with little sleep fueling the tank I jump out of my tree somewhat wobbly. My things falling out little after I do

I gather everything that fell out of the tree. Taking a seat I look for my water inside my bag. I take a few sips and splash some of it on my face. My limbs are heavy; I need to sleep... "You look-" I turn to see Beanpole looking down at me "great" I roll my eyes and fix my stuff together

"Gee thanks" I say sarcastically picking myself up off the floor and throwing my bag over my shoulder

We began our journey once more walking along the mountain. We walked all day and set camp for the night for several days until we reached the outskirts of a port town

We stood at the top of a hill overlooking the whole town "Wow! A port town!" Yona exclaimed her face seemingly surrounded by sparkles. Everyone's really, Yun's, Kijas, Yona's and even Shinha's "Hak! Hey, is that the ocean? It's so pretty! This is my first time seeing it!" Yona gasps out

I chuckle at all their cute gaping faces "Port Awa," Awa "territory of the Earth clan. Never thought I'd be here again" I look over the town recognizing all the small details "Me neither" I mumble under my breath. Beanpole eyes me curiously

"Have you been here before?" Yun asks Beanpole. Beanpole being the only person to have heard me, apparently

"A long time ago, the old man brought me here" He said gazing at the ocean. He hums looking at me, as if asking me my reasoning. I shrug looking away avoiding the look he gave me all together

"Kija, is the Green Dragon here?" Yona asks cutting off whatever Beanpole was going to tell me Phew~ I mentally thank Yona. Kija looks exhausted

"Well, he seems to be rapidly changing his position, and..." He looks all dizzy and collapses. The princess gasps and goes to his aid while Yun only speculates boundaries for their powers

"We want to find the Green Dragon too, but we're tired from the long trip and I'd like to go get some food supplies" Yun put a finger to his chin "Okay, let's go to the port!" Yona exclaims and they all sparkle

"We're not going! I'm not taking any of you! Especially you, with the mask!" Yun scolds and Shinha sulks. Kija pats his back in comfort

"Then I'll go. I kinda remember the way around the port" Beanpole says with his glaive resting on his shoulder

The princess immediately goes to persuade him "Hak, I want to go too" I stare at the exchange and how Beanpole looks at Yona "Princess, you've gotten ugly recently" I chuckle and walk past them. My bag on my shoulder with a stick pointing out

The bickering starts and I smiled to myself "(Y/n)?" Yun calls and I hum "Where are you going?" I motion to the stick poking out of my bag and say I need a new blade for my spear

I'm a few steps ahead when Beanpole finally decides to leave. He tosses the glaive at Yun who falls as due the weight. They all biker one final time and we set foot to go into the town

As we're finally alone with no one to interrupt Beanpole takes the opportunity to question me, "So, you've been to Awa?" I nod and keep walking alongside him looking for a weapons shop "Why?" I give him a side glance

"That's not important" I dismiss, now he only wants to know even more and he glares at me. Remaining unfazed I decide to be vague "Well, I had some business I needed to take care of here"

Beanpole doesn't seem convinced and is even more skeptical "What business?" He keeps pestering while I look around

"Just as hollow as last time" I say and Beanpole takes a look around noticing what I mean "It... seems lifeless" He comments and I nod going into a shop
