Niall's POV:

"Are you ready?" Liam parked the car in front of my parents' house. My heart was pounding against my chest, it hurts my ribs and occasionally I felt it in my throat. Without a doubt, this is the occasion where I have felt most nervous in all my life.

"No," I answered sincerely and he gave me a small smile of handsome man. "Come on, baby. You know you'll have to do it sooner or later at some point."

"You're right, but nobody is ever ready for this" in the morning I had called my mom to tell her that Liam and I were going to dinner. It's really just a pretext to throw the bomb, we would have done it weeks, after Liam got out of the contract problem, but I had to wait for the bruises he left on our night of reconciliation to disappear.

"I will always be there. I'll support you, okay?" I just nodded and he gave me a small kiss on the lips.

Writer's POV:

After both boys got out of the car, Liam took Niall's hand. Nobody saw them so they could make that show of affection. The blonde liked his small hand in Liam's big one.

When they reached the door, Niall took the key he still had from the house and opened the door. He swallowed a large amount of saliva and felt the palm of his boyfriend with his shoulder, he smiled and nodded and the little boy returned the gesture.

"Ehm... Mom, dad... we're here," Niall said loudly. Everything was exactly as Liam remembered it the last time he was there, except now the dining room was in good order for dinner.

Both nostrils were flooded with the smell of meat and garlic sauce in the air, Niall's stomach began to sound and Liam gave him a friendly nudge.

"Boys!" They both heard a voice coming from the kitchen and were immediately caught by the arms of the lady "My boys. Look how you are, so big and strong. I even got dwarfed with Niall!" Liam bit his lip to keep from laughing, he knew the blonde would kill him for making fun of his height.

"We're also happy to see you, Mom." Niall smiled at her mother and kissed one of her cheeks.

"How have you been, Liam? I saw the news, it must be hard for you."

"I'm fine. Thanks for asking, Maura. It's a difficult thing to do, but Niall has supported me a lot" Niall felt the hint in Liam's words and did everything possible to not blush right there.

"That's wonderful. People should have the right to love who they want" the blonde felt the little touch of Liam's hand and knew that it was a sign that everything would go well.

"Yes, that's what I wanted to prove."

"Seem right. Dinner is not ready yet, but sit in the living room with Bobby" both boys nodded and headed to the living room. Upon arriving they saw the eldest of the Horan and both greeted him.

"Hi guys. Time without seeing you, Liam" Bobby got up from the couch and gave him a hug with a pat on the shoulder to each one "look at you. boy, you are tall. I can't say the same about you, son."

"Yes, Yes. I know I'm a dwarf" Liam took the opportunity to laugh of the blonde's stature. The truth is that both of Niall's parents love Liam as if he were their second child.

They sat next to the older to watch the football game while they had a beer. Occasionally the three exchanged words or commented on the game. Niall looked away from Liam or avoided seeing him because the brown-haired man always took advantage of the moment to wink at him, he didn't want to get more nervous than he already was.

"Dinner is ready." The three men got up from the couch where they were practically lying and went to the dining room. Each took a seat while Maura served the food. Liam was on one side and in front of him was his little boyfriend, then there was Bobby and in front of him was the chair still empty of Maura, as soon as she finished serving all the rice, meat and some wine the four began to eat.
