Apparently, Nate's house is on San Marino so it doesn't take too long to get here. The sun is still out so it's pretty chill. There are a lot of cars parked on the street so I guess they're all from the party.

I decided to wear a khaki short skirt with some see-through mesh leggings underneath, a black plain crop top and a pair of vans. Nolan said I look way too hot for only introducing me to his friends. I asked him what he meant by that but he stayed silent. The ride has been pretty awkward since. I don't really want to argue so I'm coming to have a good night and make some friends.

Nolan pulls up on the street. He goes around the car and opens the passenger door for me.

"Can we have a good time?" He asks softly.

"Yeah, why wouldn't we?" I say getting out of the car and caress his cheek.

"I love you." He says and puts his arm around my waist.

From the outside, the house we are approaching looks so big and luxurious. There are a couple of guys chatting and drinking beers on the porch.

"Hey." Nolan says to one of them and gives him a bro hug. (Lmao u know what I'm talking about)

"Hey man." A guy with blond dyed hair says to my boyfriend. He looks straight at me. The other guy has his eyes glued to his phone.

"This is Becca, my girlfriend." Nolan smiles down at me getting my attention and then turns to his friend again.

"Samuel but call me Sam." He extends his hand for me to grab and I do so smiling at him, "Rebecca." I shyly say.

The other guy puts his phone on his back jean pocket and extends his hand to my boyfriend.

"Sup." He nods to the both of us.

"Hey." Nolan shakes his hand. "This is my girlfriend." This time he doesn't say my name which is so weird and I'm starting to get a little bit mad about it.

"Whoa." The natural blond opens his eyes widely. I didn't know you had a girlfriend man." He looks directly into Nolan's eyes. What. I can't stand being here anymore. I want to leave. I feel my body tense up.

In a matter of seconds I look up at Nolan and he looks back at me with a face full of confusion.

"How could he not?" Sam abruptly says. "Bro, hasn't he told you about her?" He asks the blond and trying so hard to soften the mood.

"Wait." The guy says. "You're um... Don't tell me..." He pauses while trying to remember my name maybe? I know by the look I may have on my face that Nolan knows I'm annoyed. I don't want to make a scene here. "Rebecca, right?" He snaps.

"Yeah." I grimace.

Nolan rubs softly my lower back.

"Okay..." Sam says. "Johnson, that was awkward as fuck. Why don't you go smoke some shit inside?" He asks.

Johnson. Noted.

"Yeah I'll go." He begins to walk towards the entrance. It looks so nice in there. "Actually, do you want to smoke with me, Nolan?" Johnson turns around. "Nate's got stash."

I feel Nolan's hand tense up and I'm beginning to feel a little sick. I turn to Nolan and he looks at me blankly.

"I'll catch up with you later." Nolan smiles and Johnson leaves.

"Can we talk?" I whisper. I turn around and Sam is not here anymore.

"Yeah..." Nolan pauses, "before you say anything I just want to let you know—"
