"So you went to a Yankees versus Red Sox game in New York?" Kelsey asks for like the third time.
"Oh my God Kels." I throw my head back in annoyance. "For the third time, yes I did!" I almost shout.
"I'm sorry." She pauses, "it's just that you said you didn't like sports." She laughs.
"Well, I don't." I reply, "but if some super hot Arab man asks you out to see a classic game like that, how could you say no?" I giggle.
"Well, yeah. She's right." Stas responds as she's coming from the kitchen all wrapped in Sammy's arms.
"Yeah but I'm into girls so whoever that'd be she better take me shopping." She flutters her eyelashes.
"Want a beer Rivers?" Sam asks Nolan, who's sitting across the center table and his eyes are glued to his phone.
It hasn't been as awkward as I expected it to be since only Stas and Kels know we broke up a couple of weeks ago. Nolan and I have just exchanged a couple of words. Though I'm glad Sammy and Nate haven't noticed anything weird going on. I'm still not sure how I'm going to handle this situation.
Just as Nolan is standing up to grab the beer, we all hear a door slamming from upstairs and in just nanoseconds I see a Jack Gilinsky throwing a punch on Nolan's face.
"What the fuck!" Sam shouts as he goes closer to where the boys are.
"I'm going to fucking kill you Rivers!" Jack yells as he keeps punching Nolan.
"Man, stop!" Nolan fights back.
Johnson and Sam grab them both by their abdomen to separate them.
"What's your fucking problem?" Stas yells at Jack who's all sweaty and is shaking.
Jack stares at me dead in the eyes.
"I asked you what is your problem Jack!" Stas yells even louder this time.
Before Jack could answer, Nolan stands up from the couch. He has his eyes swollen and I feel sorry for him. His beaten up face looks like shit. But he deserves it, right?
"What was that Gilinsky?" Nolan asks scratching the back of his neck.
Jack is trying to catch his breath and he just can't stop looking at me which makes me feel guilty about something. He definitely just found out.
Nicole comes running down the stairs and stops in her track as she sees the scene on Stas' living room.
"Oh my God." She covers her mouth in astonishment.
I mouth Jack an "I'm so sorry" though I'm not even sure for what I am sorry but I guess I should've told him before?
"You fucking knew, right?" Jack gets out from Johnson's grip and walks closer to me.
"I'm sorry Jack I didn't want to—"
"You knew all this time yet you rather see me with someone who was cheating on me the whole time!" Jack yells at me and I can feel his breathing centimeters from mine.
"Holy shit. What's going on?" Sam asks loudly.
"You are so part of this." Jack breathes.
"Get away from her, Jack." I hear Nolan say.
Oh no.
"Like you got away from my girlfriend, huh?" Jack turned around and was about to punch him again but Stas got between them two.
"Okay, enough!" Stas yells. Her cheeks turning red. "Nolan, leave!" She points to the door and then points to Nicole who's still on the steps, "you too!"
