Kanari POV

Having a year passed, I became an important figure in Aogiri Tree.

They would usually entrust me with infiltration, espionage, spying and assassination.

In every mission, I would wear an all black ninja outfit, with a katana sheathed on my back, kunais strapped on my thigh and chest, and hidden weapons on my left hand and the tip of my shoes, with the black head band slanted to cover my left eye, which would stay normal when I summon one of my kagunes, earning me the title, 'Hidden Eye'.

I have also made many friends.

Mora, Jain, Konoe and I have gotten particularly close, well, too close.

I know that they have developed feelings for me but, I would always try so hard to contain my laughter after seeing how they would get all intimate with me in the face of me being their 'best friend'.

Actually, I liked how they made me feel.

They made feel happy, warm and brave. Like nothing can stop me.

But alas, there actually was.

Professor Bastard here, found out about how we felt about each other and used it to bind me tighter to Aogiri Tree, saying that if I defy any of the higher-ups commands, they will kill them and feed their corpses to me.

When I heard that, I only grit my teeth until it made high pitched noises while my clenched fists were dripping with my blood.

Not wanting anything bad happening to them, I tried my best to avoid their advances while keeping our relationship as I try to find a way to escape.

Weeks I had to rack my brain for a plan, until an opportunity showed itself.

I was given a mission to infiltrate the CCG's base to steal some important documents.

Laughing at how lucky I was, I donned my outfit and went to look for the three girls.

When I found them inside Mora's office sipping tea, I have them a peck on their lips through my carbon mask, making them confused and happy at the same time.

After getting out of the base, I started to run, using the shadows of the trees to hide me, I ran at max speed, which was mach 1, while weaving through the trees.

Reaching a cliff, I disregarded danger and jumped.

Before gravity could take action, I summoned my feathered Ukaku and flew at a fast speed.

Not even taking half an hour, I reached the 42nd floor of the CGI's base of operations.

It was too easy actually, but it was only possible because it was me.

Trying not to alarm anyone, I used my Kuokako to cut through the glass wall.

Breaking in through the small hole I made, I erased my presence.

No smell, sound, or even shadow.

Avoiding all the guards and Doves, I was able to reach my destination.

'Haise Sasaki Office'

I've got to hand it to my luck. It brought me to him. The first half ghoul.

I'm thankful the implant in my brain could only track my location, and not see what I see and hear what I hear.

Breathing in deeply, I summoned my Kuokako and put on finger to the keyhole, concentrating as I slowly change the shape of the knife.

Once I knew that I had it, I slowly turned my finger and...*click!*...the door is open.

In a good mood, I slowly opened the door and closed it gently, trying not to alert anyone.

I could just tell this to somebody else, but they wouldn't believe me, so I made a plan and get Haise Sasaki's help, a half ghoul, the man who was Kaneki Ken.

Being bored, I sat on the dest and played with my kunai while balancing it on the tip on my finger.

Doing the same thing for 6 minutes, the door finally opened, making me quickly hide my kunai.

And here comes in Haise, carrying stack and stacks of paper that covered his sight.

Haise POV

Closing the door behind me, I let go of the documents and let it fall to the ground, making a loud thud.

Stretching wy tired arms, I turned around, only to see a ninja sitting on my desk, sporting a Kakashi look with the headband and  all from naruto.

I was dazed a bit, but seeing him wave at me, I suddenly realized that someone was able to enter my office and I wasn't able to notice his presence until now.

I was about to summon my kagune, but I stopped once the ninja took his mask of, I stopped.

Because the man was actually a boy. A cute, innocent looking boy.

Seemingly irritated at how I loomed at him, he snapped be back to reality.

"Come on, Haise-san. I do not have too much time!"(Boy)

"Wh-what are you talking about?"(Haise)

"I have information about Aogiri Tree's hideout."(Boy)

Hearing this boy say that he had info about out enemies base nearly made laugh, but remembering how I wasn't able to notice him when I walked in my office, and imagining how he was able to get into a complex building without getting caught, made me turn serious immediately.

Liking how I reacted, the boy, who introduced himself as Kanari, said that he was part of Aogiri Tree, well, he was forced to join and was now trying to find a way out by coming to me.

He also made me promise to save three ghouls, friends maybe. Once he described how the look, I hurriedly ran to give this info to the higher-ups.

Once I explained how I got it, they thought it was bullshit, until Kanari, wearing his mask, appeared behind one of them with a katana on their throat, making them realize it was serious.

This time, we mobilized most our forces to make sure that they have no escape.
