22.Entrance Exam

Izumi POV

When I got back home, I greeted my mother and went straight to the bathroom.

While showering, I brushed my teeth.

As I was rinsing my hair, I looked below me, and saw that my breasts have gotten better.

As I was going to pay it no mind, Kanari's cute and innocent smile image flashed in my mind.

Blushing, I questioned myself.

"I wonder if Kana likes big breasts?"(Izumi)

Hearing my own rambling, I got embarrassed and hurriedly rinsed my whole body.

After showering, I wrapped myself in a towel.

As I passed by a full-body mirror, I saw my own figure, which I am proud of.

Again, his image appeared again. Causing me to have the same thought about my body. But before I could say it out loud, I shook my head and wore my blue-green tracksuit and ran outside while saying goodbye to my mother.

Running, I avoided all the people on my way, which I was able to do because of Kanari's intense training.

When I reached the gate of U.A. I smiled widely and continued to run.

Because of my excitement, I made a mistake and tripped.

As I was about to use the momentum of the fall to do a flip, I suddenly felt that I was floating.

"Hey! Are you alright?"(?)

I look behind and see a short girl with a petite build, her skin looks fair and prone to blushing. Her eyes are large and round, their irises a warm brown, with rather thick upper eyelashes, two longer and more prominent ones protruding outwards on either side, and fewer but more individually pronounced lower eyelashes. Shoulder-length and about the same color as her eyes, her hair is bobbed and curved inwards at the ends, two longer clumps taking the same shape on either side of her face, and short bangs that reach roughly a quarter of the way down her forehead.

"Did you help me?"(Izuku)

"Yeah! I used my Quirk, Zero Gravity, to make you float."(?)

She said as I was able to straighten myself and the force that was making me float, disappeared.

Seeing this, I unconsciously returned to my hobby of muttering to myself about information.

"Eh? He-hey. Are you al-alright?"(?)

Hearing her, I stopped and looked at her.

"I-I'm sorry! Force of habit."(Izumi)

"Well then. It seems you're also going to participate in the examinations so, goodbye and good luck!"(?)

The girl ran, leaving me speechless.

But,since I didn't have much time, I also ran towards the building while looking for signs Kanari.

Time Skip: Meeting Hall

Not being able to find Kanari anywhere, I dejectedly stood with other participants in the meeting hall.

Suddenly, all the lights turned on, and a man with yellow hair stood on a podium with a mic on his hands.

This man was recognized as a Pro-Hero, Present Mic.

"To all the examinees tuning in today, welcome to my show~ah!!! Everybody say 'Hey!'!!"(Present Mic)

. . . . Silence

"What a refined response! Then I'll quickly present to you the rundown of the practical test exam!! Are you ready!!?"(Present Mic)

. . . . Silence

Silence was all the response he can get from the others, while I kept on mumbling about him, until I felt a familiar intent directed at me.

Turning around, I could see someone who I wasn't able to meet for months.

"Ka...cchan?"(Izumi)

"Shut up, Deku!"(Katsumi)

I wanted to yelp, but the way Katsuki looked at me made me stop.

"As it says in the application requirements, you listeners will be conducting a ten minute mock urban battle after this. After the presentation, you'll head to the specific battle center, okay!?"(Present Mic)

. . . . Silence

"Okay!!?"(Present Mic)

Present Mic asked again, only to be met with silence.

"In other words, they won't let you work with your friends, huh."(Katsumi)

"You are ri-right. Even though our examinee numbers are consecutive, assigned to different battle centers."(Izumi)

"Damn! I can't crush you, then."(Katsumi)

After the long wave of silence, Present Mic coughed.

"Three different type of Faux villains are stationed in each battle center. You earn points based on level of difficulty. Your goal, dear listeners, is to use your Quirk to earn points by immobilizing the Faux villains. Of course, attacking other examinees and doing unheroic actions are prohibited!!"(Present Mic)

Present Mic stopped, prompting us, the examinees, to ask questions, and so did one examinee with blue hair and a pair of glasses.

"May I ask a question?"(?)

"Okay!!"(Present Mic)

"On the printout, there are four types of villains, if that is a misprint, then U.A.,the most prominent school in Japan, should be ashamed by their foolish mistake. We examinees are here in this place, because we wish to be molded into examplary heroes. In addition, you with the green, curly hair!"(?)

The boy suddenly called out to me.

"Me?"(Izumi)

"You've been muttering this whole time. It is distractio. If you are here in a pleasure trip, then leave immediately."(?)

"I'm...so-sorry."(Izumi)

"Okay, okay! Examinee 7111! Don't be like that to your fellow examinee! And there is no misprints, we will talk about that later! We will start with with your written exams, first!!"(Present Mic)

Time Skip: 2 hours

After finishing the written exams, we were now inside a bus.

Other examinees were chattering here and there, not minding the noise their causing, but I couldn't care less about those.

I'm only worried about Kanari.

I've been looking all over for him, and yet, I wasn't able to find him.

He did say that we'll meet today, right?

It seems that I'll have to wait for him to show himself.

He really likes to sneak up on....people.

Wait!

"I know you've been watching me, Kanari."(Izumi)

I actually don't know, but I'm trying here.

But, when I felt someone sitting beside, I immediately looked to who the person was, and there he is, smiling mischievously.
