Kanari POV

Sneaking into a library, I first started to look around for a map.

Luckily, the first floor had one hung on the wall.

Walking stealthily towards it, I started to see if I could find the place I am currently at.

Rubbing my eyes again and again.

I couldn't find any places that I'm familiar with.

The only thing that are the same with map shows and the map I remembered in my brain are the countries and nations.

All I could find out on the map here is that, I'm still in Japan, still in Tokyo, but, I was in a place near Shizuoka Prefecture, which I have never heard of.

Realizing that I was getting frantic, I took deep breaths and calmed myself down.

Just finding answers for my questions leads to more questions, but I know that I need to continue.

Taking of my mask, I put on a mask of innocence and went up to the librarian lady.

"Umm....excuse me."(Kanari)

With my voice as childish as it could be, I was able to catch her attention.

Once the librarian turned and saw me, she immediately smiled and blushed.

"What is it?"(Librarian)

"Where is the book about the history of quirks?"(Kanari)

"Oh? You are looking for that? So young yet looking for something not for kids, or maybe you're just curious?"(Librarian)

Hearing that I was young, it would always prick my heart if it was three years ago, but after missions after missions, I learned to love it.

"I just want to read it."(Kanari)

"Well~, your lucky that someone just gave it back. Let me get it for you......here. Have a grest time reading."(Librarian)

"Okay~! Thanks pretty lady!"(Kanari)

I didn't wait to see her reaction, because I was too used it and I could guess how they'll react after getting complemented from their movements, the way they act, the way they talk, and their personalities.

Walking fast enough, but not too fast that it was considered a run, I hurriedly sat on a free chair and placed the half a dictionary big book on the table.

After opening the book, I started to read.

After reading the whole book for an hour, I was able to come up with a short and simple summary about Quirks.

One day in Quiq Quig, China, a "Luminescent Baby" was born with a unique power called a "Quirk". Then, around the world as time passed, humanity started to obtain Quirks and people realized that their dreams of being Heroes could become a reality with these powers. Now, 80% of the world is comprised of superhumans and people's dream of being heroes became a profession which is under the spotlight.

After reading the whole book, I started to think about possibilities about where I am, but I need to do one last check.

After closing the book, I slowly walked to where the librarian was seated at.

When the librarian saw me, she gave me a bright smile.

"I finished it."(Kanari)

"Huh? That fast?"(Librarian)

"Yeah! I really like reading."(Kanari)

"You must be really good then."(Librarian)

"Yup. But, I have a question."(Kanari)

"What is it?"(Librarian)

"Are their any books about ghouls?"(Kanari)

Once I asked for the book, she threw me a confused look, strengthening the possibility I've thought of.

"What ghouls? As in, in fairy tales?"(Librarian)

This time, their was no escape. The possibility of me being in another world is true.

At least, I've escpaped from Aogiri Tree. I was also able to burry Jain, Konoe and Mora before, this happened and I could maybe even start a new life.

Their is also the possibility that this is a different dimension and the Jain, Mora and Konoe that have died in my old world are alive in this world.

Trying to keep in my excitement from the possibility of this being a different dimension, I changed the question.

"Sorry. Please forget about it. Can you please tell me the date today, beautiful library onee-san?"(Kanari)

Wanting to get an immediate answer, I complimented her again.

The librarian, blushed as she tried to hide her smile woth her hand.

"Hehehehe. Such a charmer. Okay, today is June 16, 2040."(Librarian)

"Okay, thanks! Bye-bye, pretty onee-san!"(Kanari)

After she waved her hand goodbye, I left.

Excited to the max, I started to use other means to investigate about the important things in the world.

I stole a thousand yen from a man and went to a internet café, researched, and found that the greatest hero born was called 'All Might' and had the title of 'Symbol of Peace', there are also villains and they have an organization called, 'League of Villains.', and the most prominent school for aspiring heroes was called U.A. Highschool.

Out of the rest, these are the most interesting things.

I don't actually have a reason to be a hero, nor a villain, but, once I found out about U.A. Highschool I felt like I must go there, no matter the reason.

But, the problem is, I was not born in this world, meaning, no birth certificate, no records, no nothing that will help me enter the most prominent school in Japan.

So, I planned to join the league of villains.

I'll need their help because of my....palate not being so acceptable to society.

Once they accept me, I will suggest to them that I will infiltrate the school as a student, because no one will ever suspect me as a villain.

Having made my plans, I went out the internet cafe with one last thought.

Even though I wasn't born in this world, do I have a quirk?
