Kanari POV

Sitting on the bench, tears still falling to the ground, I looked at the girl beside me.

"My name is Yaoyorozu Momo. Can you tell me your name?"(Momo)

"Name.....Chihei Kanari..."(Kanari)

After saying my name, the girl, Momo, smiled.

"Nice to meet you, Kanari-kun."(Momo)

I didn't respond, but only nodded slightly.

Then, silence descended on us, making things awkward.

Not wanting this awkward atmosphere, Momo frowned, and placed her soft hand on mine, rubbing it gently, making me 'surprised'.

"Haaa....Kanari-kun. I may have been a stranger earlier, someone you just met, but please, tell me why are you crying?"(Momo)

'Hesitant', I looked at Momo's dark, onyx like eyes, and told my 'story'.

After knowing what I 'went' through, Momo sobbed.

"I.....I-.. This is too much! You seem to be a great kid, and yet- why?"(Momo)

With my head hung down, I didn't answer her question.

Feeling even more pity towards me, she gave me a hug, and she rested my head on her breasts while caressing my head.

"Oooh. Poor thing. Buhu."(Momo)

Feeling that I 'needed' someone to lean on, I returned her embrace and hugged her tight.

We remained until I stopped, weeping and let each other go.

'Realizing' what just happened, I 'blushed'(which I can show anytime I want to. The only time I can't control it is when I actually feel a strong emotion or get surprised.), and continued to look down.

But, that didn't stop Momo to caress my hair.

"Such evil parents. How could they even hurt someone as adorable as you?"(Momo)

Me, not used to being called adorable by someone honestly, without a hint of lust, malice, or intention of possessing me, other than those three girls I love, made me blush for real this time.

"Hey....where will you go now?"(Momo)

The moment of truth have come! I must not miss this!!

With the most sorrowful look I could muster, I looked straight at Momo's eyes, causing her to be surprised.

"I.....do not....know. Can....I....be with you?"(Kanari)

Hearing my last words, Momo didn't even hesitate and her eyes had twinkling stars in them.

"I-if you a-asked th-then, su-su-sure!"(Momo)

Hahaha! The power of words! Using 'be with you' rather than, 'live with you, for a bit', stay with for a while, or any other, gave me a higher chance to be accepted.

Having accomplished what I wanted, I showed a bright smile, stunning her.

She only got back from her stupor after feeling arms wrapped around her.

Seeing me hug her willingly, she felt a sense of accomplishment, which I planned after doing this with many other women back when I was having missions for Aogiri Tree daily.

The only problem now, are her parents- not! I can just act away and have my way.

But, I feel kind of bad for tricking this naive, innocent and beautiful girl.

So, I will try to act as natural as I can be with her.

Starting with this.

"Thank you."(Kanari)

I said in the most appreciative voice I can.

Time Skip

Hahahaha! My instincts were right! This girl isn't just rich! She's super stinking rich! And seeing her personality, she ain't the snuck up, arrogant, snob type, her parents must be great people.

The place where I am with Momo now, is in front of a huge gateway with shiny letters on it saying, 'Yaorozoru Residence'.

Getting 'nervous', I held her soft hands. Making her feel tingly.

"Kuhum. Here we are."(Momo)

Upon saying that, the big gate opened, making Momo pull me to follow her.

Looking at the sides, I could see pine trees planted at the side of the road.

Looking in front of us, I could see us getting closer and closer to a fountain, and behind it was a huge as fuck mansion.

Rejoicing inside my head because of my luck, I tightened my grip on Momo's hand, making her smile and blush.

When we reached the door, a woman in a business suit opened the door.

The woman, looked much like Momo, making me guess that she was her mother, the scent also proved it.

"Momo? Who is this young boy?"(Momo's mom)

Momo's mom didn't look angry, rather, she looked flustered as she kept looking at me and at Momo again and again.

"Good evening, mother. This is Kanari-kun, and I happened to bump into him earlier. If possible, can we please go inside first? I would like to speak about something important."(Momo)

Still flustered about my presence, Momo's mother walked inside, with us following behind her.

"If this is about the...bo-boy, then you just arrived in time for dinner. We have enough food for four."(Momo's mom)

"Okay."(Momo)

Throughout the way, I clung to my 'broken' state and continued to hold Momo's hand, not letting it go.

In the hallway, all I could see are expensive stuff.

The carpet, paintings, vases, and decorations.

Some maids would sometimes pass by, standing frozen upon seeing me.

When we reached the dining room, a very, very long rectangular table could be seen, and fancy looking food were on it.

The mother, sat on the edge, while Momo sat near her and I sat beside her.

Only letting go when I had food in front of me.

Then, only the sounds of our utensils can be heard.

The mother, getting nervous, finally asked.

"Momo, what was the important thing you wanted to speak about?"(Momo's mom)

And with that, Momo stopped eating, cleared her throat, and told her mother my 'story'.

Not even reaching the end, Momo's mom was already crying. Believing everything her daughter said.

When Momo finished, she asked if I could live with them, and her mother didn't even hesitate to agree.

But, of course, me not expecting this(I actually was), was surprised.

"Bu-but-"(Kanari)

"No, 'but's, Kanari-kun. You will live with us now. We've already gotten permission. And, what will you do if you hadn't met me? Live on the streets? I cannot allow that! It will be better if you just live here."(Momo)

With that, Momo and her mother both looked at me, forcing me to look at them, and with a grateful look on my face, I smiled.

"Thank you."(Kanari)

It seems that my smile was too effective, because the two of them nearly fainted.
