-DANIEL'S P.O.V.-

"Seavey, you came"

"Sorry for bothering you but I need your help"

"With?"

"I need you to track down someone, Zoe"

"Number?"

I handed him the phone number as I waited hoping he could track down Zoe. I looked at the door as it opened, Christina walked in smiling at me.

"Hey, I thought I heard your voice"

"How have you been" I asked looking at her.

"Good, thank you"

"Daniel" I looked back at Corbyn.

"Yeah, did you find her"

"No, she blocked everything, whoever she's with knows what they're doing"

"What do you mean?"

"To put it simple, she doesn't want you to know where she is"

"Is this about Zoe? Is she okay?"

"I don't know, there's this guy that I don't like, he's hiding something"

"Who?"

"His name is Jack Avery"

-ZOE'S P.O.V.-

I looked around the living room as I waited for my mom to come out. She's been in there with them for awhile now. At first I heard shouting, but now you can hear their voices talking in a calm tone.

"Want something to drink?"

"No!"

"Damn why so aggressive" I looked at him and rolled my eyes at him.

"At first you seem like a quiet girl, one that follows everything they tell you too, but now that I look at you it's obvious who you are"

"I don't know what you're talking about"

"That attitude of yours, it's going to get you in trouble"

"Oh yeah, by who?"

I looked at him as he smirked at me before getting up and walking towards me. I scooted closer to the edge of the couch making sure to leave some space between us, but he leaned over towards me making me lay back on the couch. He leaned closer making sure there was no room between us as he caged me with his hands.

"Get off" I tried pushing him off but he leaned his weight on me.

"Keep struggling and we'll end up under my sheets"

"I'm serious get off of me"

"So am I"

I looked at his eyes, they were a dark brown, normal yet attractive. I looked at his piercing on his nose. It seemed like something normal, but on him it looked hot. I found my self staring at his lips, when they turned into a smirk.

"Like what you're seeing?"

I pushed him off catching him off guard as he fell off the couch and on the floor. I sat up looking away as I felt my cheeks heat up. Damn it Zoe what were you thinking.

"Zoe" I looked at the dinning room door as my mom stood outside it.

"Mom" I got up and ran to her hugging her. She wrapped her arms around me hugging me back.

"Is everything okay?" I asked looking at her.

"Yeah sweetie, everything is okay"

"Then we can go home right?"
