~Ch.14~

-JACK'S P.O.V.-

"You had one fucking job Avery!!"

His voice echoed throughout the room. The tension between all of us was hard, anger was the only thing all of us had. I looked at him as he threw the papers off the desk before punching the wall.

"Demanti, please stop, you're going to hurt yourself" Zoe's mom hugged him making him loosen up a bit.

"I wish I could but I can't, they have our daughter, he has our daughter"

"I know, but hurting yourself won't bring her back...I know he won't hurt her" She wiped the tears off her face before looking at me.

"Nicolas has his ways, don't blame yourself for not being there"

"Everyone out, now!" All of us walked out his office leaving him and Zoe's mom alone.

"What are we going to do?"

"Find her, I don't care what we have to do but I'm not letting her stay with that bastard"

-ZOE'S P.O.V.-

"I never wanted to hurt you, but you choose him over me, I'm your father not him"

"Dad...I know you're not him"

I held my tears as he smashed the cup on the ground causing it to shatter all over the floor. I looked up at him.

"I won't hurt you but if he doesn't return what's mine then daughter I will have no other choice but to show him"

He walked out the room leaving me alone, great getting kidnapped seems to be something life has for me. I got up walking to the window, seems they caged it, I won't be able to make my great escape. I looked at the mirror on the wall, Zoe you have to get out of here no matter what.

-DANIEL'S P.O.V.-

"I have to find her dad, she my best friend, the only person who knows me"

"Daniel I know but I can't, if we get involved then it'll become a war with Nicolas and I can't put you in danger"

"Fine! Don't get involved I'll find her myself"

I walked out his office heading upstairs when I saw Stacey sitting in the living room.

"Stacey? What are you doing here?" She got up walking to me.

"I thought something had happened to you since you left me hanging at the mall, you said you were with you dad but you weren't!"

"Stacey I can explain"

"No! I don't want to hear it any more Daniel, it's always like this between us and she's the one causing everything, Zoe"

"You don't understand Zoe, she's..."

"I don't care...it over Daniel between me and you, we're breaking up" She began walking towards the door. I grabbed her hand making her turn back around.

"Stacey please let me explain"

"No, we're done Daniel"

She pulled her hand walking out the door. For some reason I didn't want to let her go, I needed her by my side but I needed to find Zoe. I watched from the window as her car drove off.

"Daniel"

"Mom"

She walked down the stairs looking at me, she had that look on her face, the one where she's planning on giving me a talk.
