~Ch.5~

-JACK'S P.O.V.-

"Aren't you coming down to eat?"

Nothing.

"I'm going to open the door"

Nothing. I grabbed the key and unlocked the door. The room was dark. I walked towards the window and opened the curtains before looking back at her. She was laying on the bed asleep. I walked over to her kneeling down in front of her. She was asleep this whole time. I grabbed her sheets and covered her before walking back downstairs.

"Where is she?"

"Asleep, I didn't want to wake her up"

"So what are you going to do"

"What do you mean?"

"You know once Daniel finds out she's staying here he's going to flip and won't allow her to come back"

"Well I'm not going to let him take her"

I grabbed my fork and began eating my pasta when the front door opened. I looked up and saw Eben walking in.

"What's with all the guards Jack. Sup Jonah"

"Hey bro, I haven't seen you in awhile"

"Demanti had me taking care of some business on the other side of town"

I looked at him as he grabbed the fork from my hand and began eating my food.

"Really Eben"

"Sorry, I'm hungry, so what's up with all the guards outside"

"Demanti put him in charge of someone special" Jonah said smirking at me.

"Oh yeah, who? The queen of England" They both began laughing.

"Nicholas Frank" I said before Eben stopped laughing and looked at me.

"What about him?"

"Remember that precious daughter of his" I said smirking at him.

"No way! Where is she?" He ran towards the stairs.

"She's in the second floor on the last room to your right" Jonah screamed while looking at me.

"Really?!"

I ran after him before he did anything stupid. I walked through the door only to see Eben looking around.

"Where is she?"

I walked towards the restroom and knocked on the door.

"Zoe you in there...are you okay? If you don't open I'm going to knock down the door open"

I stepped back before kicking the door down. She wasn't in here. I walked towards the shower, she's not in here. I ran to the closet only to find it empty. Where the fuck did she go.

"Seems she made an escape" Eben said looking down at the window. I walked over to the window and saw the bed sheet she had tied to get down.

"Fuck" I ran out the room heading downstairs.

"Jonah stop eating, she ran away"

"What?! Demanti is going to kill us all now"

I walked out only to find the guards talking to each other.

"She escaped and if you don't want Demanti to kill you for not doing your job I recommend looking for her now!" I yelled making them all run off.

"What now" Eben asked looking at me.

"We look for her, she couldn't have gotten far. She's dead once I find her"
