Nature of the Beast is out now! It has been my "little" project for the last two-ish years.

First starting out as the background story about Chara and Asriel in an Undertale AU I had created, which had never seen the light of day, it slowly transformed into its own story. You can tell by the names the reminiscing hints of who was who in the story (Kallai meaning fire prince, Azlyn meaning dreams. Kaerae being a knockoff of Chara, Psykhe which means soul). But, do not be fooled of this paragraph, this is a story of its own. Beware when you enter the land of Mydiae, for you may never escape alive. Better hope you do not have magic in your blood, for it may be your doom.

Kallai Azlyn and Kaerae Psykhe saw the deaths of the kings, their own fathers, at the hands of a man with a vengeance, Kaden Faólan, the king of an unknown kingdom. Kaden rises to power to give those without any magic in their veins the place in the world that they deserve. Out of the poverty, into prosperity. But, the route he is taking is bringing the goddess of death behind him. With the crew of Corbeau, a rogue that Kaerae found on her journey through her kingdom in search of survivors, and Nathanaël, a blind warrior of the Plutarch army taken by Kaden, the four go on their way to take down Kaden. On their journey, they see the devastation that is left over of not only Kaden but of the ways of society before Kaden took over. Can they stop the oncoming war, or will they join in the fight to bring equality to everyone in the land, no matter the cost?
Nature of the Beast updates every Monday until December. Every five chapters, there will be a two-week break to go over comments left be the readers and take any mistakes on the grammar, story readability, and any changes that you, the readers, believe should take place. This is a beta read of act one out of five. In December, act one should be over, leading the way into act two, which should come in the reigns in June 2020.

Act one is dedicated to Gracelynn Hutchins, the daughter of one of my best friends, born on June 17th, 2019. I hope that she enjoys this story growing up.
