The Merging

Larry and Davis asked them all kind of questions. The brothers couldn't answer all at once. Wade said, "So listen, like here in Neaucape people worship the Lordess She, this worship doesn't follow there, in Turnet. People of Turnet worship Sancus, the God of Trust & Loyalty. You see this world runs on sentiments. Wars and fights are by-products of these sentiments getting hurt. Just to let you all know, we also love our God deeply." Larry still confused, asked, "But why come here and help us?".

Francis said," The Lordess She was from Turnet & she swore to shield her country and her God's birthplace, she was one of the best warriors in the country, the Army Commander, and the leaders never betray their land and God. She was a hundred times better than other soldiers, so without her, the Army was practically nothing. Different commanders came into service, but incompetent."

Wade added, "Turnet was soon to engage in a War with a country, Edblunt, she knew about that, but still she left the country. We lost. We lost badly. It took many decades to recover. She came here, formed Neaucape. We hate Neaucape to the core, in a way Neaucape was the reason for our downfall. We never wanted Neaucape to grow & flourish. Our God's land suffered. We want to avenge. We are virtually blinded by revenge. We never got a proper opportunity to annihilate Neaucape, but now we have one. So, we ask Walbur to join Turnet, be a part of our country. You hate Fearos, we hate Neaucape, its freaking one and the same."

Davis said, "That's right, we just hate Fearos and not the whole country". Francis replied, "We know. Neaucape is basically Fearos, the other cities are just worthless and also you people of Walbur love luxury and money, we will give it to you. Join us, it will all be fair".

Larry and Davis went outside and met with the other members of the COAT. They talked for a few minutes among themselves and took the decision, they will join Turnet. The brothers were pleased to hear that. But, Davis put forth a condition, he said, "We will join you, if you tell us what is your plan and what you intend to do, only if it sounds fair to us, we shall come with you.

The Brothers agreed to it. They took out a sheet of paper, which was the treaty for the Joining. They also took out a file which had the details. The brothers explained the details and their intent.

It stated that, the new Turnet, that is after the inclusion of Walbur, does not want to completely destroy Neaucape, it just wants a bigger boundary. Turnet intends to include the whole Neaucape into its territory. Killing might be their objective. The existence of Neaucape as a free and flourishing country is itching them. They want Neaucape's freedom and want it to run as per Turnet. They also promised that Walbur will be treated much better than other cities of Neaucape after total inclusion of Neaucape in Turnet. There will be a war for freedom. A war due to hurt sentiments.

Larry and Davis were reluctant to join and agree to this, but when they were ensured load of money, proper facilities and elite treatment than others and more importantly safety for people of Walbur, they agreed.

All the gentlemen of COAT agreed and they signed the treaty. All of them were standing around a round desk. They looked at each other. The brothers told them that food will arrive for them and they can start the production of their goods and send them to Turnet for which they will get money on schedule with no delays. They were happy now.

The Brothers started to leave, and while on the door of the Office, they both said to the members at once, "Welcome".

Soon, the Brothers with Larry & Davis left for Turnet to finalise things.
