"That's why they can't remember anything," recalling all the encounters they have had.

As I was about to read on, I heard heavy footsteps coming near.

"Miss Choi," I heard a voice calling out, "what are you doing here so late?"

I turned around and was face to face with the head of the archives department, Min Yoongi.

"Oh, sir-"

-

As the trio sat down at a small table, Minhyuk looked at Haerin.

"So, why'd you need us?"

She glanced at Minhyuk, "I figured we could get together and talk about Taehyung's stubborn friends, so it would be easier to find the rest of them."

Taehyung looked at Haerin with confusion written all over his face.

"Stubborn," he curiously asked.

"Yes stubborn," she said, "stubborn as in, they're being difficult."

Minhyuk jumped into the conversation, "Doesn't Miran need to be here too?"

"I tried contacting her, but she wouldn't answer," Haerin huffed. "It's okay though, we can just fill her in on everything."

"Oh, okay. Should we start," Minhyuk asked.

"Oh, RIGHT," she exclaimed, "Taehyung tell us more about your past"

"There are six of them," he began, "Namjoon, Jin, Hoseok, Jungkook, Jimin, and Yoongi."

"There are different varieties of Yaoguai, there are those who take the form of animals and those who are celestial beings," he began.

"As far as I can remember, the last time we were all together was during the battle between the Yaoguai and the Moguai. If I remember correctly, we were battling because the Moguai had captured tons of Yaoguai and stole their abilities."

"What are those abilities? Are they your powers of some sort," Haerin interrupted.

"I guess you could say that," he continued, "the Yaoguai were more powerful than the Mogui but there was one thing they couldn't do that the Moguai could, extracting and using our abilities. Although Yaoguai and Moguai have very similar gifts, the Moguai lacked immortality; that's what they usually stole from the Yaoguai."

He paused, trying to recollect everything.

"I don't remember everything that happened. I don't remember everything about my friends except their faces and names."

"That's all right," Minhyuk reassured.

"Taehyung? Do you perhaps still pocess your abilities," Haerin questioned.

"I don't know, I believe a Moguai took mine before they imprisoned me," he replied sorrowfully.

"If they indeed did take them, is there a way to get then back?"

Taehyung looked out of the crystal glass window and stared at the crescent moon that shone throughout the night sky. He thought for a moment while looking up at the dark sky.

"There is," he replied, still in his own world, "there is a place, that the Moguai keep the source of energy that holds the abilities of a Yaoguai. This place has special vessels that can contain the energy source."

"I thought you said that the Moguai use the abilities as their own," Minhyuk said confusingly.

"They do, but they don't always use them. Sometimes the lock them up until they decide to use them," Taehyung explained.

"Oh, I understand now," Minhyuk said.

"But what about the immortality, wouldn't they always use that," Haerin asked, clueless.

"Well yes," Taehyung started to explain, "they always use immortality but, there is a way for you to also retrieve that back. You would need to restrain the one who took it."

-

"Oh, sir, I forgot something at my desk so I came back to get it," Miran explained to the mint-headed man.

"I see, did you find what you were looking for," he questioned, glaring at her intimidatingly.

"Ah, yes," I grabbed something off her desk without removing eye contact with the pale man.

I showed him the object, without looking at what I had grabbed.

"You forgot a stapler?" he asked, looking at you strangely.

I looked down at the object I grabbed, mentally cursing at myself.

"Uh, yes sir, this is my lucky stapler so I wanted to use it for some papers I needed to give Ms. Lee about my trip to the rainforest," I laughed nervously.

"Hm, okay," he said not sounding convinced.

I awkwardly moved closer to the exit, "I should get going now, it's getting late. Have a good night sir," I exclaimed, sprinting to the doors and rushing to the parking lot.

-

Yoongi gazed at the glass doors that were closing back slowly.

He intriguingly strode towards Miran's desk.

When he reached, he saw something peaking out from under a stack of papers.

He removed the pile of papers and discovered an old, worn out book

He picked up the book and examined it.

He flipped through the tearing pages.

"Where did she find this?"

-

I entered my car and quickly got in, too intimidated by the man.

I stuck my key into the ignition but before turning the car on, I checked my phone.

I had three miss calls from Haerin and two voicemails left by her.

I opened the voicemail to see what she had said.

"Miran can you come meet us at the coffee shop? I have already asked Minhyuk to come with Taehyung. I thought we could meet up to find out more about Taehyung's past. Call me when you get this. Bye." The message ended with a beep.

I went to the next voicemail and played it.

"Hey Miran, we found out more information about Taehyung. We even learned the names of the rest of his friends, but we didn't get anything else about them because he can't remember much. We can tell you soon since you weren't there and missed it. There's too much to tell you all right now so it'll have to wait. I'll see you later, bye."

I turned the key and the engine revved to life.

It was extremely dark, there were only a few streetlights that brightened the night. I drove carefully down the dark roads, having difficulty seeing all of my surroundings.

I soon reached my house and slowly went inside and sauntered to my room.
