Kaden paced back and forth. He was thinking about how to tell his parents that he will be going away for winter with Daisy. Kaden doesn't know how they will react or if they'll even allow him to go. Either way, he will have to tell them. First, he will talk to his mother; she is more open-minded.

"Mom?" He peeked into the room. His mother was folding laundry.

"Yes?" She smiled.

"I need to talk to you," Kaden said as he walked in and helped her.

"About?" She looked at him. "Does it have to do with Daisy?"

"Yes," Kaden smiled.

"Okay, I'll listen," she said.

"Well," he didn't know how to say it. "You see, Daisy and I have been talking a lot. And she suggested on going on a trip."

"A trip?" His mother looked at him. "Are you finally leaving the nest?"

"Mother," Kaden groaned. "Yes, I am. Daisy and I are planning on going on a trip to her hometown, during winter break. So that being said, I will be missing Christmas. Is it alright with you?"

"So it will be you and her?" She asked. "Alone?"

Kaden nod. "Mom, we aren't going to do anything. We are just going away to get away from everyone for a bit. To clear our heads." And to investigate Daisy's past. That will be a secret between them.

"I see," she sighed. "Alright then, I will talk to your father. And you and Daisy can have some time to clear your heads. I know Hades, lately, has been giving you two bad glares. And I will talk to Hades. Maybe by the time you come back, he will be the old Hades. Or maybe a bit mature."

"I would love that," Kaden said. "Mom, there is something else I wanted to ask you."

"What is it?" Tiara looked at her son. Kaden, her precious baby. He was growing so fast. He already found his mate, and now his going away on his first trip.

"Can a female have two mates?" Kaden asked.

"There aren't two," Hades walked in with their father. "She is mine, Kaden is just in the way."

"Enough," Drake glared. "You are giving your mother lots of problems. And I want this to stop today. Now, who saw her first."

"I did," Kaden said. "When I went to the store that one night. We made eye contact, and we clicked."

"That's not possible," Hades said. "I click with her as well."

"Drake," Tiara looked at him. "How do we know who's her real soulmate?"

"I don't know," Drake sighed. "I never had this situation before. But from what I can tell, Daisy picked Kaden. It seems she cares about Kaden. So Hades you have to step down. At this point, Daisy and Kaden's bonds are stronger.

"That is not fair," Hades glared.

"It's settled," Drake said. "Hades leave them alone. And stop fighting with your brother, I mean it. He will be your future Alpha, and you owe him respect and loyalty."

Hades just glared and walked out.

"Go now," Tiara kissed Kaden's head. "I'll talk to your father about it."

"About what?" Drake asked.

"Okay," Kaden smiled and left.

"About what?" Drake asked again. "Tiara?"

"About our son, he is finally leaving the nest," Tiara said.

"Oh," Drake smiled. "This sounds interesting, speak."
