"Are they here?!" Zach asked. It has been a month since they found out that Daisy was alive. And until now, they decided to come back.
"No not yet," Jenny said. "So let's relax."
"So that girl at the party," Jace said. "She beat the crap out of that guy. But that guy didn't hold back. He hit her too. But then that man came and busted the guy's nose."
"It was crazy," Jenny said. "And no one stepped in. Why didn't you step in, Jace?"
"Becasue there was no need too," Jace said. "She got it handle, but to tell you the truth. But when that man walked in she changed, she went from a badass to a timid, shy girl."
"Really?" Jenny frowned. "Different personalities maybe?"
"Maybe," Jace shrugged. "Oh her name was Eleanor. That is what the man called her before dragging her away."
Zach tensed at that name. Eleanor? Could it be that girl? It could be if she weren't then he wouldn't be reacting like that. Why was he acting this way?
"The guy was so beaten up," Jace chuckled. "He deserved it."
"Were they wolfs?" Jenny asked.
"The guy no," Jace said. "But the other two yes. When the man walked in, I felt authority from him. He may be an Alpha or son of one. Becasue we all felt intimidated by him."
"It could be either one," Hades said. "If others feel intimidated than he could be."
"I see," Jace ate some chips. "Well that happened last night, what did you all do?"
"Your cat was harassing me," Jenny said. "He stole my sandwich."
"Well, you should've left your food unattended," Zach said. "You know she likes to steal food."
Jenny pout. "I don't like your cat she is mean to me."
"They are here!" Salome yelled. They all rushed out and waited for the car.
The car came to a stop. And Kaden got out with Daisy. "Hey, let her grandmother hug her first," Tiara said. They nod.
"Daisy," Julie walked over.
"Grandmother!" Daisy hugged her.
"My sweet Daisy," she cried. "I am so happy to have you here with me. I've missed you so much."
"I miss you too," Daisy said. "You don't know how bad I wanted to hug you, to see you."
"Well now you are here," she said. "And you won't leave my side, at least not until your of age." Daisy nod. "We have a lot to talk about, but first, your friends are here. And they want to hug you too."
"Okay," Daisy stepped back. "Hi everyone."
"Daisy!" Jenny jumped her. "Finally, I am not the only girl anymore. Oh, I missed you so much."
"Hey," Zach walked over. "Jenny let us have our turn as well. You are hugging her all to yourself."
"Well duh, that is the point," Jenny said.
"Jenny," Daisy smiled. "Come on don't be like that. I missed you all. You don't know how scary it was to wake up in a coffin. It was the most frightening thing I have ever experience in my entire life. I think I will forever hate close tight places."
"It's like me hating clowns," Jenny said.
"I hate clowns too," Daisy said.
"Okay everyone, let's go inside," Tiara said. "Kaden, its good to have you home."
"It's good to be home," Kaden said. "Even though my friends didn't seem to miss me that much."
"It's becasue you didn't die," Jenny said.
"That is so mean," Kaden said.
"We did miss you," Tiara giggle. "Now come inside, I made dinner."
Kaden nodded and followed them inside. Being home was good. To be surrounded by his family was what he wanted. But at some point, he will have to move. But for now, he will enjoy his teenage years. There is no rush in growing up.
They spend the whole day talking and having a good day. Daisy was happy. And if she was pleased, so was he. When he lost her, he lost himself. A little part of him died with her. Just the thought of not having her in his life was painful. He couldn't imagine his life without her. He needed her with her.
"Hey," Hades walked over to him. "We haven't had a chance to talk. I mean we had, but not properly."
"What do you want to talk about?" Kaden asked.
"I want to say I am sorry," he said. "For everything that I have done. For how I have acted. It wasn't fair taking all my anger out on you." Kaden opened his mouth to speak. "No, let me finish. If I don't get this out of my chest, I never will." Kaden nod. "I tried to take Daisy from you. I got caught up in the moment. To tell you the truth, I did really like her. I wanted to ask her out. But then I found out she was your mate, and I felt devasted. And so I made it up, that she was my mate. Hoping that I can make you suffer. And I regret it so much. I know it wasn't right. So forgive me for what I have done."
"I forgive you," Kaden said.
"Thanks," Hades smiled. "You are lucky to have her. Daisy is a special girl, we all know that now. She can tame any of us. And that is bad, becasue she can be a target. By now the other clans may know about her ability."
"I know," Kaden looked over at Daisy who was helping Jace remove the cheese from his hair. Jenny had accidentally dumped it on him. "But she can only tame us if we are in her radius. I don't know how far, though. But that is all I know. We have been working on it, with the clan. And so far, the radius is big. I think, it only works if she is in a clan. And that whole clan is affected. Becasue when we stepped out of the boundary, the clan wasn't affected at all. But we don't know. We need to do more experiments; we can give you information. By the way, how are classes with dad?"
"Hard," Hades sighed. "I didn't know he was that strict. He doesn't allow me to leave until I finish my assignment. How did you deal with it?"
"I told mom," Kaden said.
"That's all?" Hades chuckled.
"Yup," Kaden said. "Tell mom, and dad will have to listen."
Hade's nod. "Thanks for the advice. I will do that. Becasue dad is strict when it comes to assignments. Sometimes I go to bed very late."
"Hey," Daisy walked over. "Come on; the cake is about to be cut." She smiled. "Hey, Hades."
"Daisy I am sorry," Hades said. "For how I acted, for frightening you."
"It's fine," she smiled. "No harm was done. Everything is cool now, future Alpha." Hades chuckled. "Anyways, come on you two." She grabbed their hands and dragged them to the kitchen. Jenny and Jace were fighting over the first piece of cake. Daisy sighed and took the first piece and licked it. "Mine now."
"Daisy, that was so rude," Jace said. "See what you did Jenny."
"Whatever," Jenny crossed her arms. "I get the second!" Jenny said grabbing the second piece.
"That didn't help," Hades said.
"I know," Daisy said.
They chuckled as Jace and Jenny got frosting on their faces. "Now you two stop fighting," Christian said as he washed his hands.
Kaden kissed Daisy head. They are finally home.
