♢Chapter16: Rescuing

"So are we going?" Jace asked.

"Yes," Zach said. "We are going to rescue them. I already know where they are I overheard my father and Drake talking about it. The sooner we go the sooner we get them back home."

"Okay," Jace smiled. "So when are we leaving?"

"Tonight," Zach said. "Are you guys in or not?"

"We are in," Jenny smiled. "I want to kick some ass. You think Hades will come too if we ask?"

"I don't know," Zach said. "For all we know, he will snitch us out."

"You don't know me that well do you?" Hades stepped out of the shadows. "Kaden is my brother, and Sebastian my brother in law. I have to at least try and save them. Plus there is Daisy as well."

"Right," Zach crossed his arms. "Well, we are going tonight." They all nod and waited until it was dark to sneak out. 

But they didn't make it far they caught up with them in less than half a day. And they weren't pleased with them. They even told them to go back. But Zach said no. 

"Fine," Drake glared. "But when we get back you are all grounded."

"Okay," Zach smiled. "I don't mind being grounded."

"Your son has your attitude," Drake said.

"I know," Clay chuckled. "Now that, since we are basically on feet. We need to get going. We need to get to the clan. If Hons thinks he can take over now that he has Daisy, he is deadly wrong."

And so they shifted and rn through the woods. They bumped into some humans, who were camping. They were actually a group of kids and some grownup. They were scared. Zach lowers down, as a sign that they were friendly. But then he remembers they weren't normal wolves. And they were taller than normal wolves.

"They are huge!" A boy yelled. "Mama, take a picture, my friends won't believe me if I tell them. Hurry before they go."

Zach felt his father nudge him. 'Go we can't be exposed.' But it was too late they started taking pictures. Zach ran, and they were out of their view. 'I guess we are going to be on the news.'

'I am going to be famous,' Jenny said.

Zach shook his head and followed his father. They hope they make it on time. Becasue anything can happen,

They arrived in town in mid-afternoon. The town looked empty. It was as if everything was closed down. "This was Hons doing. Because I know Daisy reopened everything. This town was lively the last time I spoke to them. So he has taken back the clan. Let's go." Zach could see that his father was furious. They followed him out of town toward the clan's homes.

Clay looked around. There was no one outside. But he could sense them in their homes. They seem to be scare. Clay gritted his teeth. "Come out! There's no reason to fear Hons. He will not harm you!" 

"We do have a reason to fear him," a woman walked out holding her infant. "He threatens us. He told us if we spoke to any other clans, or ask for help. He will kill our children."

"Do not worry," Clay said. "He will not hurt you. As of now, this clan is under my control until we get you Alpha back. So have no fear, Hons will not hurt you. I have already called out to the other clans around. They will protect you all until we capture Hons." The woman sighed.

"Thank you," she smiled and went back inside.

After that, the town was once against filled up with people and the people were out doing their daily routines. And no one can go out of the boundaries or come in. The other clans had sent men to stand watch.
