"So we used to hang out when we were little?" Daisy asked.
"Yes," Jordan smiled. "But after your parents died, you changed. You didn't want to talk to me or anyone. So I gave you space. And then you left, well you were sent away to boarding school."
"It sucked," Daisy said. "I didn't like it there. But thankfully after I finished with eight grade. I moved in with my grandma. And there I made friends and met Kaden." She leaned against Kaden.
Kaden kissed her head. "Meeting her was the best thing that has ever happened to me."
"So what are you two doing here?" Jordan asked.
"On vacation," Kaden said. "I ask Daisy if I could meet her hometown. And she agreed. We are simply here to relax."
"I see," Jordan smiled. "Well, it is good to have you home, Daisy. I hope we can all hang out." He stood. "I should get going. I'll let you settle in. Call me if you want to hang out. I'll gladly show you around."
"Thanks," Daisy said. "But we can manage. Thought it would be nice to hang out. Right, Kaden?"
"Yeah," Kaden smiled.
"Okay," Jordan smiled. After he left, Kaden locked the door.
"I don't know about you, but he looked a bit suspicious," Kaden said. "I mean the way he asks us what we were doing here. Plus, I saw him looking around."
"You don't think he knows something?" Daisy sat there. "There's no way he could know."
"Just in case, let's be cautious," Kaden said. "Be wavery of him. He could easily spy on us. And tell the man responsible for your parent's accident."
Daisy looks down. She laid down on the couch and stared at the ceiling. "Well, for now, let's enjoy our vacation. We should decorate the house."
"Sure," Kaden smiled. "Where do you keep all the Christmas decorations?"
"In the attic," she stood up and went upstairs to the attic. Kaden followed behind.
They spend half of the day decorating the inside and outside of the house. They finished up and head out to the store, to get groceries and stuck up the kitchen. "Do you know how to cook?" Daisy asked. "Because I know a little."
"Lucky you," Kaden grimace. "I didn't get to lazy around when I spend time with my mother. I learn something. And one of them is baking and cooking."
"Oh really?" Daisy bagged some apples. "Well, I want to see you cooking than." He chuckled and helped her bag up some fruits and vegetables. After they had their items, they paid and went home.
"It's freezing," Daisy said and stood close by the fire.
"You are a wolf, half," Kaden said. "You shouldn't feel coldness."
"But I do," Daisy said. "Because I got all my genes from my mother's side."
Kaden smiled and put away the groceries. "On Christmas what would you like to eat?"
"Anything," Daisy said. "That doesn't contain cherries. Or I'll swell up like a plum." She walked over clean the inside of the fridge.
"Don't worry," Kaden chuckled. "We didn't buy any cherries."
"I can cook too," Daisy said. "I can make some lasagna, which I'll make tomorrow. I can make other things as well."
"Christmas will be great," Kaden said.
On Christmas Daisy and Kaden spend all day cooking and baking, just for themselves. And a cat who had wandered into the backyard.
Back at the Moonlight clan. Drake helped Tiara place the turkey in the oven. "Thanks, love, you are of great help. Usually, Kaden would help me. But he isn't here."
