♢Chapter23: Eleanor

"I win!" Dasiy said yelled as she had shifted back. The others laid on the ground. "Whoops, I am sorry. This gift is still new to me. I can't control it that well."

They shifted back and laid there. "It's fine," Zach said. "We can work on it later. There must be a trigger to it. And we will find it."

"So is it you?" Jenny asked. "I mean, could it be that you are the only that has that gift?"

"I don't know," Daisy sat down. "I am not sure if my brother has it too. My parents didn't leave much information about Gareth."

"So there is a high chance he may have to," Zach said.

"It will be more like 50/50," Hades said. "We can be sure until we find him. Which by the way is difficult especially if he's under a different name."

"Right," Daisy sighed.

"Anyways, change of subject," Jenny turned to Zach. "So Zach, why have you been so mysterious?"

"What?" Zach frowned. "I don't know what you are talking about."

"I mean how you tend to ditch us after school," Jenny said. "And it's not cool, so what's up? What have you been doing after school?"

"That is none of your business," Zach said. "You are very noisy."

Daisy giggled. "But we are curious, Zach. Tell us, what have you been doing?"

"I been trying to find Eleanor," Zach said. It was no use in hiding it from them. They will find out sooner or later. "And I haven't had any luck."

"Why do you need to find her for?" Jenny asked.

"Becasue I believe she is my soulmate," Zach said. "And I can't be sure until I find her and speak to her."

"Well you should've had said something sooner," Jenny said. "I know where she is. And I talked to her a few times. You could say we are friends."

"Tell me where she is," Zach glared.

"She lives in a nice house," Jenny said. "In your clan and just so you all know, she has two personalities. Well not really, her wolf tends to take over whenever Eleanor is in danger. So if you meet her, she will be timid and shy. And if she is in danger, her wolf takes over and will chew you out."

"Than I should be careful," Zach said. 

Daisy smiled. "Can you all stand up now?" They nod. "Good, now we can go eat. I am hungry. Let's go to the diner."

"Yes!" Jace stood up. "Let's get going. Becasue I am starving."

"You are always starving," Hades said as he helped Jenny up. "I feel bad for the woman that will become your wife."

Jace frowned. "Hades, shut up."

Daisy chuckled and stood up with Kaden. Kaden has been very quiet. She wondered what was wrong? "Are you alright?" She asked.

"Yes," Kaden smiled. "I have just been exhausted, becasue of all the work that Jordan has been sending me."

"Doesn't he know all that stuff?" Daisy asked. "Didn't he study for that?"

"Yes," Kaden sighed. "But it never stuck to him. He didn't pay much attention."

"I feel bad," Daisy said. "He has to endure three more years of that. But we can help him during the summers and short vacations."

"I will let him know that," Kaden said.

"Hey hurry up you two!" Jenny waved at them. Daisy giggled and dragged Kaden along.

They made it to the diner and sat in a booth close to the window and order their food. So now to wait. And something unexpected happened.

"There she is," Jenny whisper. They looked over at the counter, and there she was. Eleanor, but she wasn't alone there was a guy with her. "It's that guy again. Her boyfriend." Zach growled and got up. "No wait, Zach, come back here." Zach walked over.

"We should be ready," Hades said. "Becasue a fight could break out between him and that guy. And it won't be pretty." They all nod and watched.

Zach grabbed Eleanor. "I finally found you." He pulled her to him and kissed her.

Daisy gasp. "Please tell me he didn't do that."

"He did," Kaden said.

"This will surely start a fight," Jace said. "And just when our food got here."

Zach kept kissing her, not letting her go. At some point, she wrapped her arms around him. That is when he felt her change. So Jenny was right, her wolf takes over when Eleanor is in trouble. She pulled away.

"I knew it was you," she smiled. "We are soulmates, and I want your wolf to claim me as soon as possible. That way I won't have to deal with that guy. Eleanor thinks she loves him. But that is not true. He is manipulating her."

"Don't worry I will do as you ask," he said.

"I take over her body when she's in trouble," she said. "But I can't stay long. So be rough with her. Make her listen to you. Her brother has tried many times to make her understand that this guy is worthless. But she is stubborn."

"Hey!" The guy walked over. "It's you again. What do you want? And what are you doing with my girlfriend?"

Zach looked over and glared. "She isn't yours." He said. "Didn't I tell you to not go near her? You are asking for punishment aren't you?"

"She came to me," the guy smiled. "Right Eleanor? You want to be with me?"

Zach felt her change again. He looked at her; she looked shy and scared. "She won't go anywhere. She will keep away from you. And I know she won't disobey me. If she does, I will lock her up." He felt her tense. He knows he was harsh, but her wolf did say to do all he can. "Do you understand, Eleanor?" She nod. "Now you, leave. Or else."

"Or else what?" The guy glared. 

"You will have to deal with us as well," Hades said grabbing some napkins.

"This isn't over," the guy said and left.

Zach dragged Eleanor to the booth and sat her down next to Jenny. "She is coming home with me."

"You don't have to be so mean," Jenny said. "Look at her; she is scared."

"Her wolf told me too," Zach said.

"I see," Jenny sighed. "But still, treat her well a least. She is your mate."

Daisy looked a the girl. She was indeed frightened. "This is technically kidnapping," Daisy said as she patted her hand. "Don't be scared; we aren't bad. Zach is just doing what he thinks is right for you."

Eleanor looked up at her. "I can't go home?" She asked. "My brother will get worried."

"I will take you home," Zach said. "So that you can get some things. Then I will take you to my home. And you will stay there."

Daisy sighed. It seems Zach and Eleanor started off at a rough start. She hopes that they can resolve their problems. Becasue if they don't. Thinks could eventually get bad, really bad.
