The guard opened the door to a rather dull-looking bedroom and ushered them to go in.

"You can find clothes in the closets as well as a private bathroom through that door. Tomorrow, you will be picked up by my colleague who will direct you to the breakfast hall. I wish you a good night."

The guard gave them both a short nod and walked out of the room, closing the door behind him. There was a faint click and Azura and Lucas exchanged a short look before he walked to the door and tried to open it again. Marric's henchman had locked them in.

"Well...it wasn't like I was planning to go anywhere." Azura shrugged and smiled slightly at the absurdity of what was going on. "I have to admit, I am rather tired so sleeping does sound like a good idea." She yawned and opened one of the closet doors to have a look inside.

After learning her mother's name, they were interrupted by the same woman who had given them their clothing with the announcement that there was food served for them. Marric had taken that as a cue to end the discussion and left while leaving them with the guard that had just taken off. Killian and Zahair were told to leave too so she didn't get a chance to talk to either one of them.

The dinner was actually rather good and Azura was more famished than she initially thought. At the rate Lucas had wolfed down his food, she guessed he had the same feeling. Dinner gave them time to discuss the things Marric had told them and straight after, the personal guide had directed them to their sleeping quarters. They had taken an elevator down two floors and the same lifeless, grey hallways had greeted them there. The guard had wasted no time in showing them their bedroom and now they stood in a space with a double bed, two chairs, and a small desk.

There was no window or any natural light in the room. It was honestly, one of the most depressing rooms she had ever slept in. It resembled a prison cell more than a regular bedroom. The walls were white, the floor grey, and the furniture was anything but tasteful.

Azura let out a soft sigh as she took out another pair of pants from the closet. It was the same as she was wearing now only black. Still ugly as fuck, but at least it was black and not that disgusting hospital scrubs color. She placed it back and turned to Lucas who was watching her like a predator.

"What? What are you staring at?" Azura raised an eyebrow at him and took a step back as he took one towards her.

"I'm staring at a woman who had tried blaming me for something she did. A woman who had the guts to swat her paw at me for no reason."

"I needed to convince Killian I had an actual reason to growl!" Her voice skipped a little as she took another step back as Lucas came closer.

"Oh really," He got even closer and an evil grin sprawled across his face. "So you admit you made a mistake?"

Her fingers touched the wall first followed by her back. He had her cornered once again. She could maybe try to make a run for it, dash past him to the bathroom and lock it but she knew he would probably catch her before she could make it. Her eyes scanned the room and there wasn't much space to move around. She was fucked.

Lucas closed the distance between them and pressed himself against her, keeping her stuck to the wall. Azura gasped as she felt his warmth against her body and his hot breath on her face.

"I admit nothing. I declare innocence." It came out in raspy breaths as she had to tilt her head back a little to face him.

He roughly grabbed her right wrist with his left hand and pressed it against the wall while with his right hand he sneaked underneath her shirt and softly grazed past her ribs. She squealed against him trying to push him away as the ticklish sensation became harder to withstand. Trying not to laugh, Azura bit her lip while her body thrashed against his. He didn't stop though, instead picked up his game till her unwilling laughter filled the room.
