School finally let out and Monse , Jamal ,Ruby , Cesar and I were waiting for maddie to come but she's 20 minutes late . "Are you sure she knows 2:20 cause it's 2:40 and well she said she'd be here and and she said be here on time ...we were here on time right guys " Jamal rambled on "maybe she got caught doing something , let's just walk home " Cesar said while walking towards where we live and everyone followed suit

It didn't take us long to get home but when we did no one was prepared for the scene we saw .  "Is that your brother laughing with lexi's sister ,what are they even doing " ruby said in a shocked tone 

As we got closer we saw Oscar and Maddie laughing at one another as they are in the middle of a paint war we all walked up and before I could say anything Cesar spoke first "Yo what the fuck is going on " both of them stopped not realizing we were watching  them

Both of there smiles disappeared as they looked at us "eh watch your mouth we were just fixing a couple of steps " Oscar said "since when does spooky help " Ruby said while backing away just in case "I always take care of the people on my block fool" Oscar said while wiping the paint of his face he turned to Maddie with a smile "I'll catch you later mama " he said while walking away

We all took a step forward "Where were you we were waiting for you , dad would be so pissed that you left me" I said yelling at Maddie she just smiled and said "well good thing daddy isn't here princessa now the world doesn't revolve around you " before I could say anything else she walked into the house.

I turned to the guys "I'm so sorry for my sister she can be a little mean" I said with a smile "it's fine girl it's no big deal , she looked happy anyway " Monse said "ya don't worry it was nice to see my brother acting like a kid " Cesar said with a cute goofy smile "anyway Lexi we'll catch you later " Ruby said as they started to walk there way home .

I dialled my fathers number while walking inside the house
"Hello Papi"
"Awh my princessa how are you "
"Not so good papi , Maddie forgot about me after school and I had to walk all the way home and and when I got home she was with some cholo "
"She's suppose to be watching out for you , I'll give her a call but I gotta go now so I love you bye "

Dad hung up and I smiled he always protected me , looked up and saw Maddie standing there pissed off "REALLY you HAD to call him your so selfish " she said pushing past me and left
