*Flashback*

Since the day Oscar announced I was his in front of everyone, everything has been amazing we spent a lot of time together in fact the only time we were apart was when I was at work or he had Santo business to take care of . Today was Sunday which meant Santo family BBQ we started doing this about two Sundays after my father left .
I was in the kitchen chopping the vegetables when I saw sad eyes and a couple other Santos walk in
"Need any help Mama Santo " he said while grabbing a beer from the fridge "what did I tell you about calling me that " I said putting what I chopped up into a bowl "Next time you call me that imma kick your ass stupid" he said in a high pitched girly voice "I know what you said but come on every Sunday you and Oscar make us dinner and do all that parent shit that none of us really had how can I not call you that" he said while setting his beer down and grabbing the bowl to bring outside . Before I could respond he was walking out the back door .

I picked up the last of the food and walked to the tables and chairs that we set up in the backyard . Everyone was already sitting and talking . I stopped for a second to take in the view of everyone laughing and enjoying themselves even my sister looked really happy. I was broken out of my thoughts when I felt an arm around my shoulder I looked over to see Oscar "what are you thinking about mami " he said then kissed my check "just how lucky I am to have this family and you " I said than I was about to go in for a kiss when someone shouted "enough lovebirds the food is getting cold" I snapped my head over to see who said that  the voice came from Cesar . we broke a part and went to our seats I sat in between Oscar and Cesar as I sat down I smacked him upside the head "owww what was that for" he said while rubbing his head "you interrupted our kiss fool . whatcha think it's for" Oscar said while laughing

Before anyone started to eat I stood up to make a toast "I just wanted to say-" I was cut off by the sound of guns . in a split second I was over the table covering Lexi I look down at her "Are you okay " I said she nodded so I grabbed my gun from my jeans and got up to help the Santo's . After about five minutes the shooting stopped and Oscar was talking up a plan. "Babe no you guys need to strike tonight at midnight not right now some of you are hurt" I spoke up walking towards the group but was stopped short when Oscar got in my face "YOU don't tell ME how to run my gang your just a girlfriend so keep your mouth shut or run your ass back home to daddy " he yelled the anger built up in me and I didn't hold back "If you knew how to run a gang I wouldn't have to say anything AND you do not disrespect me I don't care wh-" before I could finish I felt a pain on my check before anything else happened I shook my head and walked back home.

*Two Weeks later*

I haven't been back to the house and we haven't talked either not a text or phone call nothing . Cesar has been over to hang out with Lex and from what he says Oscar hasn't been doing all that great and is to scared to face me .I've been taking every shift I can to keep my mind off things. Today my boss let me go home early so I decided to drive to the beach but when I got there Oscar was already there and he wasn't alone he was with some thot . I rev my engine a little to get his attention and when he looked up his face went completely pale . I just smiled and drove off .
