Oscar POV

I saw Maddie storm out of the house hours ago it was now 10 at night and she still hasn't shown up I'm not sure why I care or why I was driving around right now looking for her its like my heart is in the drivers seat instead of my brain .

I drove to the last place I thought she'd be , I saw a figure at the shore line of the beach so I got out going to check it out as I got closer I knew it was her

"So who were those men at the house earlier " I said making her jump "damn Oscar don't do that but uhm they were just some family members " she said looking into my eyes I couldn't see the spark in her eyes she looked empty "you wanna talk about what's going on in that pretty little head of yours right now " I said moving closer to her "honestly right now can you just hug me I just need a hug " she said getting closer to me

Maddies POV

After I asked him for a hug he just stood there like he was debating on weather he should put his cholo gang leader self aside for a moment or not " you know what never mind imma just walk home" I said about to walk away before he grabbed my arm and pulled me back into a hug

I just stood there for a moment before I hugged him back like my life depend on it .   He leaned into my ear and whispered " don't cry mi amor I'm here for you whenever "

After five minutes we released each other and just started to walk back to his car in silence as we both sit in the car I had to say something "you don't mention this break down to anyone okay we can go back to acting like we don't know each again that's cool" I blurted out he shook his head "I won't mention this but mamas I won't act like that anymore I enjoy everything about you I won't let you leave my life so easy again" he said while grabbing my hand and driving back home .
All the way home all I could think about was Oscar being my hero in my sad story
