They finally got into the hotel they'd be staying at for a few days.

"Hah! My arms are aching from carrying all this!" Ryujin huffed as she tossed her luggage and bags to the corner of the room.

"Really? I feel nothing."

"It's because you only bring a luggage, duh," Ryujin snickered.

It was already dark outside but it wasn't midnight yet so they still had the time to have fun or play some games, maybe.

"Ah! I'm tired, I want just wanna sleep, Y/N, I'll sleep first, good night!"

"But-"

Ryujin was fast asleep.

She face-palmed but then saw a notification on her phone.

meet me at the lobby then :D

She frowned but she couldn't help but feel excited too.

She ignored Ryujin who was already fast asleep and slipped out of the door quietly.

She looked for Yeonjun everywhere but she couldn't find him.

"Psst!"

She looked over to the source of the sound and grinned when she found Yeonjun near the sliding glass door. She walked over to Yeonjun just to have herself got dragged by him to outside the lobby.

The security looked at them weird but didn't question anything.

"You're going with me!" Yeonjun suddenly said.

"What- Where are we going? Do you even know the-"

"Shhh, you're going to love it! Err, not really, I don't know," he laughed it off and she chuckled.

They finally got to a beach.

A beach.

Yeonjun was insane. Insanely cool, she thought, almost laughing out loud.

Yeonjun turned to look at her questioningly, "What?"

"Nothing," she chuckled.

But then they walked some more, until the ground they were walking on was not the soft sand anymore. It was a basketball court. Yeonjun brought a basketball in a small bag and she didn't even notice it before he took it out.

"Why are you bringing me here?" she asked.

He scratched his neck and looked away from her. If it wasn't the night time already, she would probably see the blushing on his face, "I don't know..?"

"Okay," she laughed but then proposed an idea, "I can play as your opponent, maybe?"

"Y-yeah! That was what I had in mind.. actually," he chuckled nervously.

"Why do you sound so awkward?"

"What? Me? Haha.. Uhh," he went back scratching his neck in embarrassement before laughing although more relaxed than before."I thought you were going to be mad at me."

"Hmm, maybe almost?" she tapped her chin.

He watched her as she did this, but then she suddenly snatched the ball out of his hand when he was too distracted because of her acting.

"Beat me if you're really good in basketball!"

"What- Hey!" he protested, but was laughing along nonetheless as he ran after her.

They chased after each other for the basketball. He could easily beat her but he didn't want the moment between the two of them end so soon.

"Woah! What is that?!" she suddenly exclaimed, pointing at something behind him.

He stopped and looked back with the ball in his hands but then she snatched it away.

"Gotcha!" she cheered as she ran towards the ring.

"Hey! That's cheating!" he laughed.

He then ran after her with more speed than before and tried to get the ball back.

It went on for minutes, filled with laughters and screeching. Before he decided to trap her in his arms from her back so that she wouldn't make any kinds of move.

The two of them stopped moving and stood still for a moment. They were out of breath and sweaty. She felt Yeonjun's raging breath in her ear as he felt her body stiffen.

If anyone saw them together like this, they wouldn't think that they were even playing basketball. They would think that they were just another couple.. in love.

Yeonjun finally realized what he just did and decided to play it off and took the ball out of her hand and ran towards the ring by himself.

"H-hey!" she shouted from the distance as she finally broke out of her reverie.

Yeonjun chuckled as he imagined her face clearly, blushing red with embarrassement.

"Is that even allowed?!" she protested.

"What?" he asked innocently, genuinely not knowing what she meant, when clearly what he just did made the both of them baffled to the souls.

"H-hug-- nevermind!" she turned around and ran away.

"Y/N! Where are you going?!" he chased after her with laughters and joy brimming in his chest.

She sat down on the sand after running for quite a while, trying to catch her breath as he sat down next to her a few seconds later.

The wind was knocking the hair out of their faces and the moonlight was enough for him to stare at her for a bit too long that his heart actually skipped a beat.

She made him feel things he'd never felt before, it was all too sudden and he didn't even realize what was happening to him and his fast beating heart.

He felt the emptiness that had always been there and he didn't even realize it was there before she entered his life.

Maybe Kai wasn't so wrong afterall...
