She opened her droopy eyes to the ceiling above her. She was in a room, that she was not familiar with. She let out a little gasp and sat up immediately, making her head throbs as she shut her eyes in pain. She tried to remember about what happened before she had passed out.
-
All those thoughts were making her vision spin as she walked through the rain. The clothes she was wearing were all soaked and she was shivering in cold. She tried to hug herself out of the cold, but it was futile.
But an umbrella was suddenly being held above her head.
"Y/N..."
She was silent, she didn't know if she was hallucinating or not.
Yeonjun sighed and quickly took his blazer off and wrapped her around with it. He closed the distance between the two of them and cupped her cheek in his warm palm, "I'm sorry..."
But she was only staring at his fave, not responding at all.
Then she released the breath she didn't even realize she was holding and fell into his arms immediately, as her vision was slowly turning black.
She heard Yeonjun, yelling her name, but she couldn't keep her eyes opened.
-
"Oh, you're up!"
A woman came through the door, she brought a bowl of soup and a glass of water, "Yeonjun is out with his teammates, he should be practicing as we speak, for tomorrow's game.""In the rain?!"
She had yet to know who was the woman she was talking to, sitting on the bed next to her, but she was already yelling and immediately regretted it.
But then the woman only chuckled at her and shook her head, "In the basketball court, dear."
She sighed and looked down to a damped folded towel in her lap and realized her forehead was wet and reached up to touch it. Then the woman spoke, "He took care of you for the entire night-"
"It's morning now?! I have to go to school—"
"Whoa, slow down, buttercup, don't you remember there's no school this Friday?" the woman responded.
"A-ah, yes, I apologize," she calmed down at the reminder, but then the puzzles started to click. "A-are you.. perhaps.. Yeonjun's mom..?"
The woman gave her a smile and nodded slowly. She gasped loudly as she got out of bed and quickly gave Yeonjun's mom, bows and apologized profusely.
"No worries, buttercup, doing that only going to make you feel worse, just lay down and rest alright, I've contacted your parents already, too."
"My parents," she yelled, as she quickly look for her bag and searched through it and finally found her cellphone. She looked at all the texts from them, telling her to get well soon and they would be back soon from the business trip.
"Well, now, I have to go, I hope you're feeling better now, alright? Don't forget about the soup, feel free to get some more of it in the kitchen, but asm Yeonjun if you're too light-headed!" She stood up and about to leave, but not without a chuckle. "See you later, get well soon!"
She looked down and touched the damped towel.
"Yeonjun took care of me last night..?"
She shook the thought of her saying embarrassing things to him and got under the cover again and shut her eyes tightly, forcing herself to fall asleep.
