"Koda, do you like animals?" Y/n asked her best friend as she held out a sleeping baby bird in her hands.

"Y-yeah, I do," he told her telepathically. She smiled, she had just learned my Quirk. Y/n could turn into any animal she wanted! Koda had gotten his.

"That's good. Look what I can do," Y/n said as she handed him the bird and turned into one herself. Koda smiled softly.

He then felt his heart go bum bum bum fast when he heard her giggle. He could feel the blush on his face as he watched her turn into her human form.

He knew that he liked her, it was obvious. Obvious to everyone but the sweet, innocent, and caring Y/n.

Koda instantly started talking to his animal friends after Y/n left.
"What should I do?!" He panicked. "Feed her some berries! Me and my love do that," a bird suggested. Koda nodded quickly and took in the other suggestions.

Koda approached Y/n the next day with a smile.
"D-do you want some berries?" He asked telepathically. Y/n looked at him and then smiled, "Sure," she said.

Koda took out his bag of berries and told her to open her mouth. With a confused look on her face she obeyed and Koda placed a berry in her mouth.

This continued until there was nothing left.
"Thank you, Koda! That was really good," she said as she smiled at him. Koda blusher and looked downward. As he was about to confess his feelings she was called to go home.

"Bye, Koda!" She waved to him as she left. Koda waved back and sadly sat down.

Koda tried another way. He went to the store with his mom and looked at many gemstones. He thought about her birthday.

Once he finally got it, with a smile on his face. He bought the gemstone.

Y/n made him really happy, even if he was young, and shy, he loves her.
And he would never stop loving her.

Y/n showed up the next day at school as a cat. In recess, she was still in her cat form.

''Y-Y/n, I want to give you something," he told her. "What is it?" She asked as she turned to her human form.
"A gemstone, here," he said as he gave her the gemstone that was now made into a heart shaped necklace. She smiled brightly as she stared at it in awe.

"I love it, Koda!" She exclaimed as she brought him into a hug. "I love you too. I-I mean! Y-your welcome!" He exclaimed telepathically. She blushed at the first words but still smiled.

"I love you too, Koda," she said and pecked his cheek, making him turn redder than a cherry.

At the end of recess.... they walked to class hand-in-hand. They were really happy after that.
