~Reader's POV~

Tears streamed down my face as I clutched my pillow.
Inko's words were printed in my mind, "I'm so sorry, Y/n. But... he's gone. He disappeared. There's no trace of him..."

Izuku, my best friend since... Pre-K.
He's also my first crush and my crush at the moment.
He was missing, he just... disappeared.

He told me about the Quirk he inherited from All Might, he said I was the one he would always tell something to first...

He disappeared after he saved Katsuki, he never said anything about... just leaving.

I sighed, burying my face in the pillow before falling asleep.

The Next day, Inko and I decided to go looking for him.
We looked for hours, there was no sign of him. Poor Inko, she could hardly keep herself from crying.

We sat down at her table, my face buried in my arms, Inko tried to comfort me.
Which didn't work.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.
"I'll get it," I said gloomily.

I walked to the door and opened it, "Katsuki?" I asked in surprise, wiping away my tears quickly.
Katsuki Bakugo, a childhood friend of mine. I met him before I met with Izuku. Sure, he was a bit mean at times, but when you're always told you're strong when you're young, it's kind of an expectation. So, nonetheless, I cherish him as I do Izuku.

"Y/n," he said as he pat my head.
"I need your help, you can't tell anyone else, and someone might get seriously hurt," he said giving me a knowing look as he smirked.

I felt myself smiling, for someone who seems to hate Izuku, wants to save him.
"Of course. Let's go," I said which he looked happy to.

"I've got to go, Inko! I'm going with Katsuki, I'll be back soon!" I told her. She gave me a nod and I left with Katsuki.

I looked at the car he had and I new immediately he had stolen it.
"Don't worry, the owners don't want the piece of crap anyway. They said it while I was taking it," he told me. I rolled my eyes with a smile.

"You don't have a license, young man," I said, hesitant to get in the car.
He pulled out his wallet and showed me a fake ID. I nodded and got in the car.

He got in after me and turned it on, he bit his lip, looking at his lap.
"We'll get the nerd back, I promise you that, Shorty," he told me, mumbling it.

"I hope so. Thank you, Katsuki," I said with a hopeful smile.

We searched, Katsuki giving me certain things to smell and try to catch a scent of it.

I caught Izuku's scent, only for it to disappear as quick as it came.

Flashbacks of Izuku only made me more determined to find him.

"Y/n, we'll be heroes together! Okay?" Izuku asked, "That's a promise, Izu," I said with a smile.
