I run up to Tenya. I had been trying forever for him to notice me. As more than a friend. As more than a classmate. As more than best friends. Or whatever we even are.

I want to be with him. I want him to actually care for me.

But lucky for me, he's dating Mei Hatsume. He asked her out... after the sports festival. I was heartbroken then, but I've learned to deal with it.

It's just the look he gives her. And how he can actually relax with her. It's just pure jealousy. And that's all it will ever be. 

"Iida!" I exclaim with a goody smile on my face.
"I've got something to tell you," I say seriously. "Well, what is it?" He asks.
"Can we go somewhere private?" I ask looking at our surroundings. It was currently lunch.
"I think you can say it here," he chuckles.
"Please?"
"Y/n, you can surely say it here."
"Please Iida, it's really private," I say trying to keep my cool and not dragging him out.

"You're being difficult about this, Y/n. It's getting annoying." Something was wrong and I knew it. He... was never mean.
"I... I like you," I mutter although he doesn't seem to hear me.
"Speak up." I say it louder although it was probably the same volume when I said it last time.
"Y/n, I can't hear you, the cafeteria is way too loud."
"I like you!" I shout causing everyone to go silent.

"What? Go back to your conversations," I say which they do.

"I know you're with Mei and everything. I just wanted you to know," I say with a sad smile as I walk back to my table with Momo.

"I know he doesn't like me, Mo... there's no point in telling me he does," I say as I eat my food. She gives me a sad look.
I wave up her dismissively, "It's fine."

"Y/n, can we study at my place tonight?" Iida asks. Oh, yeah, did I mention we studied together every Wednesday. And I forgot today was Wednesday...

"Uh, sure," I say following him. I try to not make eye contact or say much. I would probably get embarrassed again.

Once we get to his house we go up to his room. Tensei walked to us a few minutes later.
"Woah, why are you guys so far apart?" He asks as he chuckles.

Iida was on the bed. I was on a chair. In the corner of the room. Away from Tenya.
"Uh, no reason!" I say with a smile. Tenya eyes me.

"So, Y/n I need to talk to ya," Tensei finally says. I nod with a smile and leave the room, gladly and follow him.
Tensei heads to the kitchen which is on the first floor. There were four floors in total to this house. Damn these rich people.

Tensei continues to chop the vegetables as he talks to me, "You confessed to my brother, didn't you?" He asks with a soft smile. I nod. He chuckles.
"And while he was dating that pink haired girl?" He asks. I nod again.
